superkew Thanks for sharing the results.

Please, let us know the specific error messages, how/when the crashes happen on our developer support page so that we can improve it in the future.

    Thanks guys!

  • Everyone, thanks for the detailed issue reporting. I'll make sure that our development team knows about these issues so we can fix them in the near future.

  • Hey guys, we see that some of you international guys are having trouble looking for our CocoonJS Launcher App on Google Play. Here is a link to the page with a download link and instructions:

  • Nimtrix Yup! If the CocoonJS Launcher app was accepted on the app store all you would need is an iPhone, no Mac or Apple dev account needed. We'll also have a cloud compilation platform that will compile your HTML5 game and spit out an Xarchive file and an APK for iOS and Android. But an iOS provisioning will be needed so that with the certificate you can upload it to Apple yourself to generate the final IPA file to submit to the iOS app store.

  • Hi guys, we've had the CocoonJS Launcher app ready for iOS for months now,but unfortunately its been a challenge getting it accepted by Apple. If it were accepted, testing C2 games would be a snap but until then we provide the Xarchive file. Hopefully we'll get accepted soon.

Also, if you want to publish a game to the iOS App store a Apple dev account is pretty much required - if you want to own it of course.

nemo That's odd, you can check out the code for our multichannel audio by downloading the source code on our demos page (http://cocoonjsservice.ludei.com/cocoonjslaunchersvr/demo-list/) Also,If you like you can submit a dev support request http://ludei.com/about

  • delgado Sorry to hear CocoonJS is not working smoothly. Is this still happening? Does this happen when using Construct 2 or just in general?

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • jourdan Great results indeed! Thanks for sharing. As Ashley said, in a few weeks you'll be able to deploy your game onto iOS and Android.

  • Kastas Knifegrinder Thanks for recommending CocoonJS!

Although, we do not currently support WebStorage (we support Local Storage only), but in our next release of CocoonJS there will be a hybrid WebView and accelerated canvas support. So soon enough you can have access to webview features.

Blgth Yes, CocoonJS has extensions where you can integrate ads easily. We actually have a couple HTML5 apps out on GooglePlay if you like to check it out:

    http://bit.ly/LUDm7M (Our own game Sumon)

http://bit.ly/Kx1o31 (Biolab disaster deployed with CocoonJS)

  • Knifegrinder Thanks, we're glad you like the performance! We know our Scirra integration isn't flawless but we're working hard at it so that soon enough all the other stuff is taken care of.

  • basti - We would have to agree with Ashley, it's good to have your own UI;plus making your own UI will make it blend in to your game a little more.

  • farsmile90 Thanks for sharing, and great game btw, we love to see Construct 2 games running great on mobile. If it runs OK on the Launcher it will run seamlessly once our Cloud Compiler is available so that you can package it on to the App Store and Google Play.

Sorry to hear that, we hope that soon enough our C2 plugin will work with all C2 games. If you like you can try submitting a dev support request in our contact us page and we'll try to look into it.

  • basti To go off of the browser term Ashley just mentioned, you can think of CocoonJS as a "mini browser" that only interprets the JavaScript. The rest(CSS, HTML) is ignored, for now. That's why the index.html file is not needed in the CocoonJS launcher. However, we'll also have CSS support coming sooner than expected! So stay tuned.

zsangerous Actually the FPS is all from JavaScript

  • Good to see everyone's excited about our cloud platform! We can't wait either, great products take great undertaking, fortunately we have an amazing development team that will deliver this SOON, we will announce it on our blog and probably here as well.

nemo Thanks for sharing your results! We're eager to see what amazing games you guys can come up with on mobile.

  • 0plus1 That's OK, everyone's entitled to their own opinions. Our philosophy is that developers should try out what's already out there(even use the competition) and choose the technology that best solves their needs, but we believe CocoonJS is the best way to deploy, accelerate, and monetize HTML5 games.

As for the other questions, the CocoonJS platform can easily add extensions to sit on top of our platform such as game center. We already have built in extensions(easy as calling the functions)- you can see our wiki for the list: http://wiki.ludei.com/cocoonjs:featurelist

We also have many demos with the source code to see how you can integrate some of them:

    http://cocoonjsservice.ludei.com/cocoonjslaunchersvr/demo-list/

Also, you can begin selling your game as soon as our cloud compilation system is done, which will be pretty soon.
