  • Epox I don't think the Scirra guys have implemented support for any of our new extensions yet.

As for the Box2D binding, it's still in beta stage and is missing quite a few features still. Depending on what you expect from it it's possible you won't be able to do it right now.

  • Hi KaMiZoTo,

May be We can help you. Send us your demos and we will try to find whats wrong. Thanks!

  • Joannesalfa Do the accelerometer-enabled demos included with the launcher (the box2d and motion demos) work correctly with your device?

If they do, then I guess there must be something wrong with the Construct-CocoonJS interaction.

  • bWard Yes, there's something wrong with the Android 2.2 support, we're trying to find a solution, but it's proving hard to solve. Hopefully for the next release we'll have it pinned down.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • danuyos The zip doesn't contain any Windows or OSX executable files, so it's quite hard for it to have any real malware inside. However, if you can make Norton inspect the zip contents and see what it reports, that could be interesting.

  • OK, there was a huge bug on the app configuration for non-premium users. It should be fixed now.

Please check again and see if everything's working fine.

If you have any further technical problems with the cloud, please get in touch with us at devsupportgkw@ludei.com

  • Please send us your test zip files to devsupportytr@ludei.com and will take a look. Thanks!

  • We have been talking to Scirra on this but can't give a ETA. We are working hard on many different things right now (even some minor optimizations for texture reduction on our side too) and are pretty busy to solve this really soon. Please, check the new release soon to be released to check if some problems have been solved.

Regards and keep up the great work!

  • Hello,

We are working closely with Scirra to add some texture memory management to CocoonJS. Can't tell a ETA for this right now sorry. I will recommend you to wait for the new release of the CocoonJS launcher and check the new rendering system, maybe (just maybe) we have solved some issues on performance and rendering and you get better results.

Of course, optimizing your javascript/construct2 project is a good option too. Can't rely on CocoonJS or DirectCanvas to do magic ;).

    Regards,

    Iker.

  • Hi vladoss,

  • Hello,

The cloud compiler is still a very early product and we are working hard to make things available to the developers. Right now there are two types of users of the Ludei cloud platform:

    a) Normal users: These users just want to get their app in the markets and test the platform. There is no access to complex extensions like ads or IAPs.

    b) Premium users: These users have access to all the extensions in CocoonJS. This option is for free too but we are trying to keep it for developers developing more serious projects that have thought of ways of monetizing their apps using ads or IAPs.

The cloud GUI changes for premium users where they can configure the ad networks they want using a JSON configuration file. Anyway, if you have a project that would like to use ads or IAPs, please, contact us so you can fill our form and check if you are elegible to be a premium user.

  • Hello,

They way of using fonts in CocoonJS is:

    a) Create a "fonts" folder in the root of your project (just beside the index.html file for example).

    b) Put your font files there.

This approach does not work at the moment if you are accessing the app using the URL but it should work if you ZIP the project and upload it to the launcher.

    Hope it works.

    Regards,

    Iker.

The font Comic Sans MS is not supported on the iPhone. You should put the .ttf file on the fonts folder.

    Thanks!

  • delgado You should contact us (You will find the form in our cloud compilings website) if you want to use the extensions. Thanks!
