  • so I want to make a life bar follow the enemy characters of which there are multiple. How would I go about doing that? The pin behavior makes all of the life bars go the same enemy...

  • It was only happened a few times, now it's gone.

    Specs:

    Intel(R) Core i5 CPU 2.8 GHz Processor,

    4 GB of RAM

    64 bit operating system

  • Whenever I try to close the program, and the window pops up asking if I want to buy the program and you have to wait 3 second before closing it, if I click close after the 3 seconds is up it just closes the window but Construct 2 stays open requiring me to attempt to close it again which makes the same thing happen. I can still go to task manager and shut the program down, but I thought I'd report the bug anyway.

  • I don't see a way to upload a file from the pc, only hyper and email links....

  • I believe that most of the files are bad, I started a completely new project and imported all of the sound effects I had in that folder and only a handful of them would import. Guess I'll just have to look for more sound effects from a different source. Anyone know of good sources?

  • LaDestitute, I tried importing them into a new file and that didn't work, but thanks for the tip. And I've read the manual too :/

    Ashley, what is happening is that the WAV files are being converted into 2 of the 3 files that they need to be converted to. The one they aren't converting to is ogg. and when that happens they aren't on the list when I go to program in sound.

  • So I have a bunch of sound effects on my computer that are all WAV format. The first one I imported did so just fine. Now any others that I import refuse to do that. Is this something wrong with the files perhaps?

  • So the level 1 Hero is strolling through the grassy hills of the first part of the world. HE SPOTS A SLIME! Buuuuuut it's just bouncing up and down because the deity orchestrating the events doesn't know how to make it jump to the left or right depending on which side the player is on.

    How do I make the slime jump to the left if the player is to the left of it, and to the right if the player is to the right of it?

  • The problem is, they are images I am getting from someone else. Unless there is a way to just erase the white background that it comes with without making the fade around the character look like a white border that won't work.

  • I figured it out, nevermind. There's a thing under platform events to simulate control from a player.
