  • "bounding box collisions and not pixel perfect"

I know what you mean in the sense it's hard to pick up stuff, but i don't get what you meant by what i quoted heh, i'm still new you see

I actually originally made "Smilie Creator" in MMF1.5 if any of you ever saw it before? So i am just re-doing it a the better creation software

  • Well if it works then cool, and if it does, it's really not a good name to call the expression, it's not clear at all for new users.

  • But i am not selecting a file, it is the save dialog, i am creating a file.

There should be an option for "text entered" so you can create a file using the name entered into the save dialog.

  • As i said before it's just a proof of concept to show you that i am working on something

And animated features would be a lot of work, i'm not sure if i can even export an animated image in construct.

  • Neither of which will sow any output on the application or game.

I would have to somehow manually add textboxes or something to each row and column for every peice of data added = stupid.

  • Basically on file = ok it would be nice if we could get the actual text entered in the save dialog, or else it seems pretty pointless?

  • Proof-of-concept smilie creator application, using drag and drop, very early version just showing that it is alive and i am making it heh.

In future it will hopefully enable you to load your own eyes, mouths, bases etc.

  • Possibly a bug though:

Canvas is sized 20x20 and a sprite is sized 20x20 no resizing done afterwards yet the canvas is largely bigger than the sprite?

  • Ah ha thank you my man, you saved me dude.

  • Well it doesn't seem to work at all now, heres a shot of what i'm doing:

  • You where completely right, that is annoying heh.

  • Well i tried paste sprite into canvas, then image manipulator copies from canvas, then saves into a new image.

    Image is always blank.

  • Basically say i have two sprites, one is on top of the other, i want to make an image out of them together and save it, is it possible in construct? I know you can do it in the old mmf but not sure how to do it here?

I haven't found any way to have two sprites merged together or to have an image created from a certain area, one of those two would be excellent to have!

  • That cap seems to not be there?

I have tried on start of layout and on load, changing resolution and layout size, neither seem to do anything.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Seems to do nothing at all if i try that.
