• Hi all i am creating a program to enable to you to easily create smilies (aka emoticons) and the only image plugin is the "Image Manipulator" and there is no option to allow users a dialog to select an image to load into it, you have to ad the image in the event editor

• Was there any need for deadeyes post? Seems to derail what i asked for completely when i am asking something legitimate since a lot of people use Linux.

• I'd like to run Construct on my Apple IIe. I'm sure you'll get right on that. Thanks, Ash.

Was that a complete peice of carcasm, an Apple II?

• Maybe you should annoy clickteam and put in a vitalize plugin, lol

• No offense but saying it works in wine is not a valid reason not to work on it.

Wine is a lot slower than native for obvious reasons, it is ugly when using, crashes frequently, wine updates can easily break compatiblity with construct etc etc.

• Such a big pitty as there are only a few reasons why i don't use Linux full time, things such as this being one of them .

Such a pitty opengl is good stuff.

• Well if i send you a picture of me on my knees with a board saying "i love you Ashley" will you do it? lol, i really would love it

• i dont get it how can sdl replace directx, when directx is basicaly the runtime engine for displaying everything :S

• Ah i forgot about that, there is no chance of stuff working on other systems then since you use directx and not opengl

• That is brilliant news, would be cool to get some applications and games out for other operating systems!

• Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
• I may be wrong but doesn't SDL work on other operating systems?

• No i haven't tried it it sorry. Will try it sometime for you.

• bummer, well i was thinking of going back to windows anyway...

• Hi all I am coming here with frustration over how slow CT is at adding anything to their products.

I am just wondering if you guys plan to ever port to Linux or Mac at all?

Thanks a lot, nice work by the way!
