  • korbaach it's all good.

My comment was mainly an addition for the OP's benefit.

  • It's bad etiquette to just grab the image location from another site if you don't have permission from the owner.

Excess server traffic can be charged to them if they don't have an unlimited plan.

Upload your image to a image hosting service, like imgur.com.

Then copy/paste the image url that is given to you.

  • Facebook is all about money. They want you to pay for ads promoting your page.

There's lots of articles online about how FB has been restricting posts from fanpages and how many people actually see them.

  • Also, Jeremy Alexander posted a tutorial that is very informative on twin stick control...

  • Well, that's interesting. I'd like to get more confirmation on this before making the move myself.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads

It's not as easy as that. As Ashley posted in the link above...

[quote:2d8ikr8k]Important When you activate Developer Mode on Xbox One, you are opting into Xbox system updates for a developer preview release that includes experimental and early pre-release software. This means that some popular games and apps will not work as expected, and you may experience occasional crashes and data loss. If you leave the developer preview, your console will factory reset and you will have to reinstall all of your games, apps, and content.

  • Ashley made a blog post describing how to do it...

  • Didn't we know all along you'd have to go through IDflr@XBOX?

No. There are many that aren't aware of this.

Undoubtedly, there will still be a few kids rushing to switch their console over to dev mode before reading the fine print.

On a personal note: However "cool" it may be to test my game on an XB1, I'm not willing to convert my console and potentially screw up

some retail games I bought just for that luxury...especially when my chances of creating a successful Indie game for it are very slim.

  • I wouldn't get too excited.

It seems that Microsoft wants apps, not games. Game development will still be restricted to certain devs.

Quoting me was unnecessary. I was making a joke based on the April Fools prank Scirra played. That's all.

But yeah, they're still having issues with the badges.

This site. Click on any link in the top menu and then click another link after that. You'll see what happens.

Uh-oh! Looks like we're too late!

"Someone" already hacked the site. Click any link outside of the forum and the pages start breaking apart. Lol!

Btw, I agree with newt. You made a poor choice in the way you brought this to the staff's attention.

  • That tutorial is referring to an asset bundle that's free with every Construct 2 purchase.

    It states...

[quote:s7mufko5]This tutorial uses the Jungle Platformer sprites from the bundle you get when you purchase Construct 2. Once purchased, click the Download media bundle link in the About dialog to get the extra assets bundle. If you're using the free edition, you can substitute your own graphics, or try the alternative beginner's guide which provides all the sprites you need.

  • Yep, something screwy has happened.

  • John Cutter, that was a really great idea you had. I've been throwing some ideas around for holiday themed games as well.

    Thanks for sharing your story.
