  • I think your controls look pretty tight, in terms of responsiveness

  • I love the skill menu, those animated orbs are pretty neat looking if not pretty simple animations.

  • The layout transition is kind of similiar (circle that sort of zooms out from the door), but it was just a quick attempt to to not have a jerky 'jumpto' teleport after going through a door. I might add more frames and rework it...perhaps a spreading circle in the exact middle...that would be good.

  • Update! New build video!

Probably the last one before the major stuff like layout changing and savedata implementation

  • Probably the last batch of features (maybe a couple or so, though) before implementing the crucial big stuff, like layout changes, savedata, and so on.

  • Check the layer it's on, maybe, and maybe sure it's not under any other layer that has backgrounds

  • 1. I've never heard of paying Scirra, other than possibly remembering some sort of profit limit for at least the paid personal version, like $5000?

    2. Not very. There isn't much difference besides interfaces that aren't available, and a 100 event limit.

    3. Depends? You're probably free to upload wherever you want, I think.

  • Try turning pixel rounding off, maybe. Worth a shot, fixed blurring for me, at least on desktop.

  • Are you by any chance forgetting pixel rounding?

  • I've got an example almost working to a t (95%) but did you want items to be able to stack more than once in a slot? I.e, for picking up multiple apples, ore, etc.

  • Can we get a capx please?

  • Got ninjaed but...

Are you sure you know how to actually add an "Else" event, besides adding it from System when adding a new event? Just asking to make sure. You can also right click an event block (the left side), go into "Add", and select Else at the bottom of the list that pops up.

Otherwise, some types of conditions are not available if certain conditions are in an event block. Some examples is that there can only be one trigger per branch (Usually "On X" or anything with a rightfacing green arrow), and things such as trigger once or on key pressed may not be available depending on what type of conditions are present in an event block. Try tinkering with your events to figure that out, i.e remove, check again (by attempting to add else), and either undo/redo.

  • There is a text object. You can set positions and pin them as well. There's also spritefonts.

  • It's a problem I've actually encountered myself, but I'm not sure if we're the only two with this. Try this: Make sure your audio files are in stereo, and if not, convert them to stereo from mono. You can do that easily in Audacity (it's free and it's pretty versatile!) and a tutorial on how to do that can be found here.

  • I whipped an example for you to use some rudimentary and simple raycasting to do more accurate bouncing:
