  Either at runtime through the use of the "Start of layout" event, either by setting an instance in C2 in the new layout. Drag the object from the object list and drop in the layout, here is your instance.

  Glad to hear you will soon be done with this monolithic work Ash.

  In my eyes, it is really one more important feature to C2.

  A complete/clear/maintained manual users can stick to. And it's quite a quick read actually. Articles are clear, efficient and well illustrated.

  Set the "default control" property of the player/platformer to no.

  You'll have to handle left and right in event too.

  Your problem is about the same as in this topic.

  The same solution applies, you have to set another variable that you will check to know if the value of Move has been changed already or not.

  Then maybe instanceProto.loadFile should be out of that function, placed earlier/before onCreate. You call it in onCreate.
