  It seems to work very good on local. Have you some lag compensation measures planned nevertheless ?

  And what plugins did you make ? (You made your own implementation of socket.io but what else did you make ?)

  Anyway, good job, keep it up.

  This will be nice having this around.

  This is not exactly one action "Save my whole array" type of thing, but you have to consider HTML5 limitations (like no support of the mousewheel or no system file access (no writing to the harddrive, apart from webstorage)).

  Simply replace the sprites with your robot parts.

  Position the emitter to your character's position when you need it (on collision with a bullet or something probably) and make it emit.

  You can Set the cursor style and make it invisible.

  To replace it with your own sprite, you'd set the sprite's position every tick to the mouse's position (after having added a mouse object).

  smitchell: you don't need to set the mouse cursor to invisible every tick like you did (a blank event = every tick).

  Only set it on startup it's enough.

  There's no Else condition available.

  But you still can invert conditions and work you way around with an inverted logic.

  ex: Something is overlapping something blabla

  Something is NOT overlapping something blabla

  Add a wait action 0.1 second between the first action (setting the text) and the second (displaying the size of the text).

  Apparently, when you set the text, it gets updated/displayed only the following tick. So on the same tick, you have a "null" value for its size.

  Check in my example above.

  TextWidth and TextHeight are two new expressions to the text object.

  You can use them to know the current size in pixels of your text (its width and its height).

  Well for this specific case, put both inverted conditions into a single event.

  This will mean

  Repeat 30 times,

  If laser is not overlaping a wall

     AND

  If laser is not overlaping a sprite

  THEN

  Add 20 to laser's width.

  Audio support in browsers is bad atm.

  If there is a pause, it's maybe due to a few seconds of silence at the beginning and end of your sound files, isn't it ?
