  • Oh, i'm sorry, i think i missed that in r106.

Maybe my advice can be alternative way for accessing the manual.

    Thanks for your correction :)

  • Wow nice plugin!

    Thx septeven

I'm wondering, what kind of games can be designed using Google Maps API?

    LBS (Location Based Service) game?

  • sammy95 just download the official offline manual from http://www.scirra.com/manual (2.2MB)

Place it in anywhere as you like, open it in browser, and bookmark it (CTRL+D).

So, when you want to open again in browser, just click bookmark for shortcut. :)

  • FYI KMag, that's exported .apk just a sample app that i design on my own, not from CocoonJS.

    Why score stop on 6?

Because i design this game just for simple test for FPS, Touch, Layout Transition and Audio on Android.

Score was added for each touch on Bomb Object.

Because the Bomb Object only 6 that i build, so Score stopped at 6.

And layout i have used only 2 and automatically stop after Bomb Spawn finished.

Please don't use this .apk for the reference to other .apk that compiled by CocoonJS.

If you want to test your own games, you can use CocoonJS Launcher on Android, and link to the .zip url of your project (for example: Dropbox Public Folder)

Anyway, thanks for the review on this sample .apk

Sorry for my bad english ^^

  • This is my sample .apk build with CocoonJS Cloud Compiler.

I hope you can review the performance and FPS in this thread too. :)

  • I have the same problem in r106

Dropped in a new oggenc2.exe and it worked fine.

    http://www.rarewares.org/files/ogg/oggenc2.87-1.3.3-generic.zip

Must be something to do with the digital signatures I would think.

Oh, thanks for the information mutuware :)

    Edit:

Have tested it, it works ^^

  • Ashley - Yes, i have try that "right click the file and choose Properties-Compatibility-Windows 7/Windows XP" on oggenc2.exe in C2 r106, compatibility problem still going.

For C2 r103.2 i didn't use any Compatibility features, just use oggenc2.exe normally withouh any changes and works normally like the screenshot i post before.

I'm agree, this is very strange problem, especially because you say the tool, "oggenc2.exe", exactly the same file, and no problem with r103.2

I haven't tested it on Windows 7 PC, i will review again when i'm finished test on Windows 7.

    Thanks for fast response :)

  • Ashley, in C2 r106 the problem still going.

I have tested manually to convert .ogg from D:\Program Files\Construct 2\tools\audio\oggenc2.exe

    From command prompt says:

"This version of D:\Program Files\Construct 2\tools\audio\oggenc2.exe is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information and then contact the software publisher."

    This is screenshot:

I'm using Windows 8 RTM (Enterprise Evaluation

    Update:

I have try it to in C2 r103.2 Stable Version, the ogg tools works fine.
