  • Problem Description

    1. When editing tilemap using tilemap bar, the button <Edit tile collision polygon> should be gray out when <Normal layout view selection> is pressed. Otherwise it will cause confusion.

    2. Similar situation happens when <Erase> button is pressed.

    3. The above problem can't be observed when multiple tiles are selected.

  • delgado your menu works smooth and fine on my phone. But I noticed 2 things

    1. It seems that you used a filter effect to let ur airplane tunneling through the title. If you use any layer with force own texture on, try to turn ut off.

    2. C2 loads the game layout by layout. Since u have a ultra long layout, it takes very longttime to load after press game start.

  • delgado, if this is my game, i might do the followings to check:

    1. Kill half outside enemy/items object and see if the problem gets fixed.

    2. If yes, that means C2 is busy dealing with them.

    3. Try to use spawn spot to create enemy instance when player approaching spawn spot.

  • You have a higher cell count comparing to mine (I have less than 100), maybe you can try to reduce some objects.

BTW, below article helped me a lot. I hope it could be a help for you.

  • , try move your music files from Music folder to Sound folder and export again.

CocoonJs is by far with the most readiness export platform.

I've port my game onto Android 2.3/4.1, iOS7 using CocoonJs PhoneGap local and Crosswalk. For complicated works CocoonJs is better.

  • , what kind of problem you've encountered?

  • hollowthreat, I've encounter similar problem. At that time my audio file has some space characters. After eliminate the space from its filename it worked fine for me.

    Hope this won't be too late for you. <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Hi! I have the same problem when I launch my game in iOS launcher. But I worked around this problem by putting all audios files from Music folder to Sounds folder under construct 2. And then my music plays without the need to touch the screen.

  • If it works fine on local machine but crashes on remote version, would it be the problem of sound file preload? I've encountered similar problem and solved after removing all preload functions.

Any further found? I just encounter the same problem today.

But maybe I'm lucky today because I put all files from "MUSIC" into "SOUNDS". And Firefox plays the music again.

  • Really love your songs! And hope you healthy and happy all the time.

  • Hi,

I'm not sure if anybody else encounter the same problem when building modile version game. My device is ASUS padfone infinity and I build apk through CocoonJS.

When I test my game in CocoonJS launcher, there are clicking sounds(or I should call it noise) around every 0.5 sec. Not to say the cloud service compiled APK has the same problem. But the most interesting thing is there is no such clicking sound on HTC desire HD.I tried to open a blank C2 project, put only 1 line to play the music, load it to CocoonJS launcher. Then I get the same different clicking noise responses on the 2 different devices.

I'm wondering it's possibly owing to the buffer size, so I add another line to slower down the playback rate, trying to watch the response. Interestingly, the noise disappear when I set playback rate to 0.7 . So I use audio editor program to speed up the .wav music(set length to 70%), and load it to C2. Finally solve the problem on my ASUS padfone infinity.

It may not be a issue for C2 or CocoonJS, but if you wish a better mobile device compatibility, this is a practical work around.
