  • Totally awesome pixelart. Hats off to you, sir. :)

  • I know I already said this, but I just wanted to reiterate how simple graphics can be SO much better than complex in cases like this game. Keep it up. :D

  • Oops, sorry, didn't even think to do that. :P My bad DX

  • Had same problem when trying to report spam post. D:

  • Pretty cool stuff. Reminds me of my first tower defense game, Ninjatown. Obviously this is a very simplistic demo, but I did enjoy trying out the two different turrets and the boss at the end was a pleasant surprise! Looking forward to seeing more! :)

  • Hey there, the name's Scott =] I haven't really done any game development for a long time (I used to use Game Maker, I was fairly good at it but that was a long time ago now) and decided I wanted to get back into it. I found Construct totally by chance and thought it looked pretty cool and decided to give it a try.

I'm mostly a musician, specifically I'm a composer. When I've been here a little longer I'll post some of my stuff up for you all to see, and if you like it and want something for your game, all you'll need to do is ask! :D

    So, uh... hi!

Nice to meetcha! Seems like you'll be an awesome addition to this community. :D

  • This is awesome news. I definitely feel a little safer now about the commercial project I'm developing! :D

  • Oh snap, I'm screwed. I don't have a middle mouse button D:

Well anyway, I still think it's pretty cool and artsy. Keep up the good work :D

    Nice, yo.

  • Definitely the green. It makes me feel at home here at Scirra. :D

  • It's definitely cool and interesting... sorta limited in its usefulness, though. Also, there's two things that weren't clear to me: 1) how do you create clouds? and 2) what's up with the phrase "control the mouse pressure" in the tutorial? I don't know what mouse you're using, but mine really only is either clicked or not clicked... there's no "in between," so to speak. Anyway, pretty cool stuff.

  • The artwork for this game is outstanding. Rest assured, I'll be keeping my eyes on this one. ;)

  • I must say, I enjoyed this. It was aesthetically pleasing with the simple graphics and music, and though the combat was pretty simplistic, it seemed as though some strategy was involved in the customization of your character that would give you the edge in combat. I like! :D Lol

  • This isn't technically an "introduction," per se (I've been using Construct and Scirra.com for about a year and a half now, and posted a little on the forums a while ago), but I might as well reintroduce myself since it's been a while since I've been very active in game development. So... Hi! I'm Joey Meli! :)

[Invert]'Character' animation "Running" is playing-> Set 'Character' animation to "Running"

Thanks for the idea. I tried this, but nonetheless, the character's "running" animation stays stuck in the first frame. I don't really understand what the issue is... ._.
