  • I'm going to use this thread to ask why plugins are not updated via the auto updater? You sometimes release them before a new version.

I can keep grabbing off the CVS, but maybe an option to grab those would be nice?

  • There are a LOT of games just like that. Ranging from just selecting units (like the one exampled) to playing a puzzle game to build units (Siege).

Can't really worry yourself with similarities. How many FPS games are released every year? And yet they ALL make a profit ... some breaking records ...

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Sure you can probably get a PS 2.0 card for $30, but it won't be fast

Fast enough to run 90% of what can be created in Construct

And my onboard laptop video supports PS2.0 From Intel no less, its not even from nvidia, ATi, etc. As well as it being old.

  • Just FYI, you can get either an AGP or PCIE card that supports pixel shader 2.0 for around $30 or less.

  • Are there other fixes/additions? I ask because you usually list them.

  • ... but I choose XP because worry that ...

You worry too much lol. I love Vista. Construct runs fine on it as does all my other software.

I prefer it to XP now.

  • The tap is a little too fast (hitting the keys) but good of you to help people out

  • Chances of someone doing that andla are extremely low. I wouldn't worry. If a post makes you unsure, don't download.

  • Construct Picture Editor has one for me...

    It should be there.

  • Wow, great use of lighting and 3D boxes! One of the nicest looking demos I've seen so far

    More 3D primitives please

  • Doppels example ran fine on a laptop with no real video card at 800 x 600.

Is it still slow if you build an exe, close Construct and run that?

  • Looks like tiled backgrounds don't allow per pixel.

  • Just in case, your collisions aren't set to "bounding box" are they?

  • Right-click in the event editor and make a new group. Then right click that new group and make a new event of anything. Hit the + to show the event and drag any other events you want in that group into this area.

Afterwards delete the event you made to show it.

That's how I see to add previous events to a new group without remaking them.

  • I was wondering if that was it. Is there a way to use a custom resolution like that on a display that doesn't support it? (obviously stretched)

That resolution in particular works on my widescreen lcd and not my laptop, for example.
