• We will support C2 long term :].

Cool...

• Thanks ThePhotons for the doc link. It was helpful.

Thanks also for the two examples. The Fish example provides a basic, solid foundation from which to 'spawn' new multiplayer games. (pun intended ). I also like the Test example as it helped me understand the relationship between a nameserver, a lobby, and a game. I look forward to other support content.

By the way, I teach Computer Science with Jr. & Sr. High Students, and we love this multiplayer stuff since we're building a retro party-game with Construct 2.

I'm very thankful that Exit Game is providing a Photon plugin in for Construct 2, after many 'years' of waiting. Thus, I'm wondering is such an Exit Game solution 'experimental' with the Construct 2 community - or - is this a long-term solution we can be excited about?

Thanks in advance... Jason

• Thanks Unanimous for creating this thread, for I'm experiencing the same symptoms. Via Bowser, my peer-client can connect to the peer-host and join the room , but after a quick one second, will automatically be 'kicked' out (left room).

Has anybody experienced any success with the iOS-version of the Bowser?

Thanks in advance... Jason

• Thx jan2000, the plugin from cranberrygame worked for me. Thx also cranberrygame for the fix.

• For this past week or so, I've been still seeking a solution for this "iOS Landscape Orientation" Symptom: Though I specify landscape on Intel Xdk Cordova [via 1) 'build settings: orientation' and 2) 'launch icons and splash screens: orientation], I still get portrait on my iOS device (an iPOD on iOS 6.1.6).

In the past I've been told to:

A) search "forumsDOThtml5dev-softwareDOTintelDOTcom" for "Force Portrait even with Side Switch on Landscape" and B) Google search "Intel XDK Orientation Sample".

Unfortunately, both leads appear "Greek" to me. :( I'm too much of a noob programmer to know how to patch on such a low level. (I'm just enjoying how to use the Intel XDK GUI interface. ;)

BTW, to help with my symptom description, Phonegap-Build successfully honors my landscape choice (so I understand that it is possible on my iOS device).

Thx in advance. :) Jason

• Hi thanks so much for the nice tip. I was wondering what to do with all those build issues. Jason

• 1.check your App ID

2.Ad hoc provision file

3. Make sure checked the Ad hoc option which is very small text

Exporting iOS on intelXDK needs only 3 of these. Im using HTML5 export for my iOS on Intel XDK, I tried Android exporting files but it was not good as HTML5. Some problems may encounter such as no audio and orientation, Alert at beginning, the game is not resume and suspend when minimize.

Resolving:Delete the alert command in index.html .Check Audio and Device plugin on the right side, and check out this link to fix Orientation . Put the resume and suspend commands in exported Android index.html to your index.html.

Thats all of my problems with iOS exporting. Hope this can help you.

Hi I'm glad that it works for you.

My ios orientation symptom is: though I specify landscape via Intel Xdk (such as 1) 'build settings: orientation' and 2) 'launch icons and splash screens: orientation'), I still get portrait on my ios device.

Will your kind lead to 'Intel XDK Orientation Sample' resolve my situation? If so, can there be more explaination, since I'm a noob to patching code? (Interestingly enough, phonegap-build does honor my landscape choice.)

Thx in advance. Jason

• I have the very same problem on iOS with "Landscape". For me it works with i.e. Phonegap Build but not with Intel XDK. My C2-setting is "Landscape", and I have now tried ALL Intel XDK project settings ("Landscape", "Default", "Portrait") - everytime I get my app in portrait.

I'm also experiencing the same iOS symptoms, with Phonegap-Build working but not Intel Xdk. Any news with Intel's response? Overall, I'm looking forward to using Intel's well-designed Xdk with Construct 2.

• Thanks for the helpful pm.

I imported your project you provided.

And removed iap plugin in the Third-Party Plugins.

Sitll got error message (Internet connection...)

Your project's html directory structure is weired.

htmls must exist in www folder as below.

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/186 ... 091140.png

Please when create xdk project, only copy c2 expoerted htmls to www folder.

Cheer up and Try it

Thanks

Thanks for your tip. I must be having a bad day , since I'm still getting the same build error. <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_sad.gif" alt=":(" title="Sad" /> l appreciate how you've been encouraging still. <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" />

l noticed that you have 2 crosswalk templates for sale at the Scirra store. For those who already purchased your package of plugins -like me- do we we have to pay extra for those?

Still persevering, <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /> Jason

• Though there has been 50+ views, I'm wondering why no response yet... could it be because no one has successfully tried In-App Purchase on Google-Play using Crosswalk Intel XDK?

I'm using Crosswalk Intel XDK, because it was the easiest to use (no keystore, signing, and zip align to worry about . Yet if there's another simple, clearly guided method to achieve the same goal of Google-Play Publishing, then I'm all for it.

(I really enjoy the user-friendly Tutorials that take on such advanced topics, such as exporting/publishing to major stores.

Thanks in advance for any help offered... Jason

1.

I know that you have 4 other Construct 2 Demo Projects. Does it matter which one I use?

==> no matter Thanks :)

2.

Did you create new xdk projec with "Start with a Blank Project" ? Yes, and then imported from Construct 2 'Android' Export .

3.

Did you do exactly this url?

https://github.com/cranberrygame/com.cranberrygame.phonegap.plugin.iap#592f332aee5c88909992b36ccc33a1c15bbdd014
[/code:2xuowdw5] Yep :)
4.

Edit:

If not solved by these, try to update xdk to recent version. Just upgraded from ver 1332 to 1494, and received the same Build Error: 'Unable to build. Please verify that you are connected to the internet and try again. Object reference not set to an instance of an object.'. It shouldn't be an internet error since I am still able to build another project right after.

To not take up your time much longer, perhaps is there a 'working' XDK project folder (zipped) that I can look at to compare 'xdk' files, etc?

I assume I'm the only one with this build problem using the IAP-Plugin with Crosswalk for Android?

Btw, I just came back from the HTML5 Dev Conference at San Francisco, and I just met the Intel XDK Management/Engineers at their booth. They were impressed by my students' project on Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.EncourageAndEmpower.IttyBittyJrAtMutantMadness (resending the link since it failed last time). Looking forward to any constructive feedback for our game-app as well as this IAP troubleshooting. :)

Again thanks for your time and patience. :) Jason

I tested your project and I got same error message as you.

So I did create new xdk project (Start with a Blank Project), and the build was success

Did you do "Start with a Blank Project" ?

Thanks cranberrygame for confirming my symptoms. I guess I'm not going crazy... yet. <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink" />

Yes, I did create a new XDK project and imported from an 'Android' export using your Construct 2 'example_phonegapiap_requires android application license key'.

I know that you have 4 other Construct 2 Demo Projects. Does it matter which one I use?

Also, should I use the Construct 2 'Android' export (versus a Phonegap export, etc.)?

Maybe there's something wrong with my 3rd Party Plugin in Intel XDK that I obtained from your README:

Again thanks for your time. <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /> Jason

Hi,

I downloaded your zip and can't import in XDK tool.

So I create one crosswalk project and buid successfully.

Some times, github connection is very slow.

I think it's temporary problem because of github slow connection.

Hi CranberryGame... I apologize for bothering you like this, yet my students and I still are still 'pulling our hair out' in resolving our 'Build Error: Unable to build. Please verify that you are connected to the internet and try again. Object reference not set to an instance of an object'. I sense its probably a human error on my side, rather than an internet Github glitch. <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink" />

In recreating our symptoms, you're right that 'Import' will not work on my attached project. Yet, what seems to work is "OPEN AN INTEL XDK PROJECT" using our attached 'example_phonegapiap_requires_android_application_license_key.xdk'.

And with your expertise, you could find out what's wrong with our XDK setup. (Assuming it's something simple that we're overlooking. <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink" />

If the above troubleshooting suggestion does not work, then is it possible that you could send us an XDK project that does work, using your IAP plugin? I can try to compare your files against mine to help identify my bug. Or maybe there's another suggestion that you recommend for our situation.

Also, feel free to check out our current student project play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... antMadness . Your constructive feedback (as well as helpful feedback from others) would be much appreciated. <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" />

Thanks again in advance for your time. <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /> Jason (Coach Jay)

• Hi I appreciate your IAP-Plugin and your Construct2 demo 'example_phonegapiap_requires android application license key' that I'm trying with the Intel-Xdk-Crosswalk-Android.

I've tried to follow your helpful README, but I'm running into a weird problem when building 'Crosswalk with Android'. I get the following Build Error: 'Unable to build. Please verify that you are connected to the internet and try again. Object reference not set to an instance of an object.'

I don't believe it's an internet issue since I'm able to build another project successfully. I need your help in understanding: 'Object reference not set to an instance of an object.'. For your further diagnosis, I've attached my Intel-Xdk-Project.

By the way, my Jr. & Sr. High students are excited about using your IAP plug-in for our class project. Thanks in advance...
