  • Let me give you an example why this doesn't work.

    Let's go event by event.

    • You start with ActiveCharacter=1 and ActiveScreen=2
    • You press left on the Gamepad
    • Line 6 triggers and sets ActiveCharacter to 2
    • In the same tick, the event in line 9 triggers since ActiveCharacter is now 2 and sets it back to 1

    To you, this looks like nothing happened.

    The mouse events work since there can only be one mouse event happening at the same time.

    What you need to do, is replace ActiveCharacter=2 in line 8 with "Else".

    Yup. That did it! Thanks alot mate. I found the one .capx where i had this similar problem and the Else-condition did it.

  • Good evening pals. Im having a problem in my character selection.

    I have two playable characters in game and a Global variable "ActiveCharacter" where i have determined 1 as first character and 2 as second one.

    Here's the event sheet and gif from what happens. So basically it works with mouse but with gamepad it doesn't change from 1 to 2. But if i active the character two with mouse it lets me change back to character one with gamepad.

    We are working on a 2D arena boss-fight game with few unique twists. Graphic style we are looking for is fantasy-medieval RPG-like with dark elements. Position that we are looking: Character Artist who can produce 2D characters and animate them as well. Due to low budget the paid amount depends on the amount of work, so there is no possibility for monthly paycheck.   • The game is now updated. I got lots of feedback about the concept being great but gameplay being not that user friendly. Well now the swords are shortened and the moving polished.

    I'd be glad to hear your opinions dear C2 community and feedback, it's always important.

    Some strange way i got vibes like Mario Kart on SNES but top-down.. <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy"> The color theme could be a bit less "aggressive", but seems like a fun top down racer.

    Did anyone else have any problems with home and return buttons on different phones when using Fullscreen option? CocoonJS used to work perfectly with any device buttons, but cocoonio disables these on Galaxy S phones. As example Nexus 5X and virtual device buttons, works perfectly.

    My debut game is now released.

    It's available for android platforms via Google Play. King's Swing is a story about King's journey through his castle after being betrayed by his own soldiers. He is trying to escape after being locked in the dungeon. The journey will be challenging as you travel through various levels. There are obstacles and unforgiving enemies everywhere trying to block your way out of castle. At the moment King's Swing has 20 different levels with unique challenges.

    It's meant to be very challenging but still funny and rewarding at the same time. As you proceed in the game it will teach you how to reach the goal and escape the castle.

    Game is made with Construct 2 and wrapped using Cocoonio.

  • I also wrapped King's Swing with Cocoonio! Easy to use and understand, good support for documentations. (Even tho' i got several security warnings when entering docs in last few days..)

    But, now game is out on Google Play and is on position 89. most popular new releases!
