  • Wait, how much are you being charged by Phonegap?

    its not exactly about how much, with my experience of years working with C2 i know that different projects works better with different exporters and neither phonegap or ludei are the best to export, so for example if i pay phonegap and for a project it doesnt work as well as in ludei and i will have to pay ludei, the problem is having so many option to export and none are "standard good", i think c2 should have his own exporter even if its in alpha/beta.

  • (before reading this, i use contruct 2 a lot for years and i like the software, its an amazing html engine)

    I already paid for C2, why i have to pay more for export? services as phonegap and ludei charge amounts of money to us for just compiling a cordova file, why do we that alrady paid for an engine have to keep paying to other people? isnt better if c2 itself is the one that export your game to an .APK or .IPA ?

  • Hello everyone! i was wondering why dont we have a feature yet to group sprites into an specific object?

    for example, lets think that we have a farming game and we need some corn plant sprites depending on how old is the plant so

    we will have to use 3 DIFFERENT SPRITES.

    so here comes my idea, why instead of using different sprites, we dont just grab the pieces and group each other into one object?

    the object could be described like a kind of a "sprite group", and we just with those parts create the exactly same objects just by doing a group and moving a little

    the sizes of the sprites.

    this example was just in a corn plant, but lets think about more stuff, a game where you can create a custom weapon, a custom building, etc...

    this feature can help a lot to improve not just development but perfomance.

  • the problem here is that if we use sprites for that it will ruin the game perfomance, having a vector like tool that can create shapes like this inside the engine will be better.

  • Hey everyone, i was thinking why construct 2 doesnt have this feature, where we can create just simple vector like structures and fill it with a texture so

    we can create easy platforms for games? creating a single sprite for every structure would be very bad for the file's weight and game perfomance. so why dont we have a vector like tool that let us draw a shape and then insert a texture inside?

    look at the angry birds terrain as example

  • Ashley close my post, please, i dont want u to get distracted because i need that r218 (that iad plugin) and everyone nows construct3 wont export to native so the question was answered, thanks everyone.

  • the problem is that its screwing my deadline to release the project and im sure im not the only one with the same problem, thats all and since its just a plugin i think someone can just make a quick plugin with the new files and its done, thanks for the support and at least now u guys know that this error exist.

  • its not a bug, its just a new version of the plugin, that its needed to be wrapped, i already talked with the guys at phonegap and i really NEED this to wrap a new game and finally launch it on the itunes store, it used to work like 2 weeks a go but they decided to use the new plugin instead of the one that its already on construct2.

    also i already posted this in the bug sections and i got no answers:
