  • Hi akashlakhotia Are you running as html5 page or mobile app?

  • On collision you can swap the image for the "pushed" one.

  • If RabbitX > EagleX swap image for one facing right.

Then use set angle on eagle if you want him to point directly at his lunch while swooping in.

  • Can you not just use the UID?

  • Okay, sorry it wasn't immediately obvious. I wondered if you were supposed to hit them with that floating bit above the character as they jumped over you.

  • Thanks Remus. If you're looking to hire people based on a share of revenue you would do well to think through this aspect more clearly. Of course you might attract some people to your project as there's a lot of differing opinion about this (as you'll see in this discussion thread) but I've learned by hard experience not to get involved unless this element has been clearly thought through up front. So I'll pass on this one for now, but thanks for the opportunity to consider it.

  • Hi Pode.

I was just running a YouTube video through an iframe in a Construct 2 program via Chrome on my Samsung S3. It normally runs fine but has just returned the following error. Just thought I should let you know as the message asks me to report it to the developer.

    Javascript error!

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'prototype' of undefined http://192.168.1.117:50000/ HTML_iFrame_Pode_plugin.js, line 98 (col 49)

This is likely a bug in Construct 2 or a third part plugin or behavior - please report it to the developer. Subsequent errors will be logged to the console.

    P.S. Thanks for the plugin. <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile">

  • Hi makebelieve. Could you rename the assets?

  • Hi Ilya, When you say you just "did game" do you mean you built the whole game (all 20 layers and 122 sprites without any previous save) or that you just played the game, which had been previously built and saved)?

  • OK. Sure, well done!

  • Hey szymek! Have you looked at this tutorial? Could you get the effect you're after by leaving out the physics parts?

  • Hey guys,

I've been seeing this error a few times this morning. Just thought I'd let you know.

  • Hi Dave. I'd strongly recommend that you invest a little time in getting familiar with other programming functionality (like switches, loops and functions) even if you just develop some small experimental projects to dabble with those features. Then you'll find that you can advance your main game much more effectively.
