  • Yes. Any solution Would Be Helpful. Thanks.

  • Hi,

Is there a way to copy text to the clipboard?

  • Ever since my first experience with C2 I always got a warning. I kept pressing OK and the WAV was imported into C2 + an OGG file was waiting there.

I haven't change a thing in my environment.

Starting from r104 I started to get the message I posted at the top. With this new version I simply can't import WAV files.

It's not a big deal cause I can export OGG files from another program.

Since I'm in the middle of projects, I'll wait for r105. This will serve as a test since during the installation it will remove r104.

My guess is that something has expired in the WAV->OGG conversion. Just a guess.

  • No idea :)

Since I'm working at the moment, I'm simply converting to OGG with an outside program and upload these with no issues.

I'm almost sure it won't help. I'm sure it's something to do with some XP/Win7 flag which was added in Ver.104.

It's not a big issue and I wonder if I'm the only one on the planet using XP.

Btw, is there any chance to see something like "Preload all sounds"?

This will save time to developer and most important - height of projects. If you're using 30 sounds, uploading a new one, removing the previous one from the preload line, and folding this long list of preload commands is very tedious task.

The "preload all sounds" will check which sounds are used in the project and preload them all.

  • I did see a warning ever since my first C2 encounter but it did produced the OGG file/s and everything was OK.

After installing the 104 version the warning became an error which doesn't convert the ogg. I need to upload an OGG instead.

Nothing has changed on my PC beside the move to the new version.

  • I get the following message:

Failed to convert to OGG. Need Windows 7+ to convert to AAC

I work with WinXP and till now had no problems uploading sounds (.Wav) to my projects.

  • When using the "Move To" it would be great to name way-points.

It would match the way the play-sound works. When I play a sound file I can define the name of it to be "GunShot" and from there to stop GunShot, etc.

The same would be great for the "Move To" too. Instead of "Move To 123,300" It would be nice to see "Move To Home".

Also, any news on the Family Icon? Currently it looks like the sprite icon. A nice family icon would be great.

  • Great work!

I like the "not" direction and the not-equal direction.

I think the best one would be a not equal sign but inverted (in white) inside a small red circle.

  • How about a small icon of an upside-down umbrella?

The background and umbrella inside can be inverted to further explain this. If half of it is inverted than it could be a nice self-explained icon. Much better than an "x".

Even if this idea fails to convince I still think the previous "Not equal" direction is better than the current red-cross.

  • I find the "not equal" icon much better than a red cross one.

One can improve it by placing it in a circle. The inner space of the circle can be inverted to better distinquish it from the "not equal".

  • This is a microscopic nit-picking.

Is the "X" icon the right icon for this?

In Logic we add a line over the word to represent the inverted operation.

Another option is to actually show the line inverted (white font over a darker background).

The "X" just seems more like in the "delete"/"cancel" direction.

  • I work on a 24" screen with full HD resolution so many screens/windows open with a strange ratio between icons/content and empty space. Sometime I need to scroll like in the above example where there's tons of empty space.

I know these semi-naggings I write about get replies in the form of "you don't really need to change this. I'm happy with things as they are".

This is why I'm happy with Ashley's changes. Btw, this specific window can be improved by reducing the space between categories. The gap between the icons bottom and the category text is huge.

And for future generations reference here's how the nesting looked like before the last great change:

  • Thanks. Hopefully it will catch.

In the last release one of my suggestions was implemented - the subevents nesting lines so I'm optimistic :)

  • I miss the days developers were welcomed and not "milked" like we see these days.

  • Just came across this guide. I haven't tested it yet but it looks like a cool step-by-step of how to build iOS apps without the need to purchase one of those white machines.

    Here's the link:

If someone know anything about this method it would be cool to hear about it.
