  • I like the background graphics, as for the player sprite, I dont know. I have no idea what he is.. some purple thing? anyway yeah the ground and the trees, clouds and mountains look great. Its kinda fun but I kinda lose my edge when I have to start ALLL the way back at the beginning

  • yeah ive been working on a platformer and ive found that having seperate bone movements makes it alot easier.

  • yeah I restarted my comp and it fixed it. Im not sure what happened I left my computer for awhile with only MSN and a folder open and when I came back and started Construct it wierded out. Strange.

  • Not quite sure why, but when I try to scroll around in the layout editor by grabbing the scroll bars and pulling, it doesnt do anything. It wont work with an old or a new .cap i can click next to the bars and the game scrolls but dragging it doesnt work. Any thoughts to whats up?

  • K I redownloaded and played it. I find it really fun regardless of all the little bugs, for example if you just pull the bottom of the tree off a little and then pull it away the tree will not sway and you cant get through. Kind of wierd. The deer stalking thing is pretty cool. You are right getting a bunny would be super hard, I would like to see how that works in another demo. It is kinda hard to get back on shore from the water, its do-able though. Maybe in the game you can eventually get a wolf pup and have to escort it on your back or something that would be interesting. Just dont make him fall off like baby mario, that game was so annoying. The wall jump is a bit wierd though. How about instead of a wall jump, make a double jump. The wall jump looks a bit odd and double jump would be much more normal looking than wall jump. The branch that hangs over the pit you need to jump on and over is a good idea. I could imagine stepping stones over a water fall where you have to jump from one to the next and avoid missing.

  • Still like it XD I cant get past the tree though I pulled the bottom off and I couldn't go through the hole under the tree. If you are going to have a duel system maybe you can make it easier by having it automatically set the wolf's position the correct distance from the snake.

    its a very cool game cant wait till you finish it! Get your students interested! I want to see a demo of one of their games.

    ok so I Edited a contra 3 sprite and tried to fool around with bones and make something out of it. I made a slashing animation for my character but it fails, hardcore. He brings up his sword past his head and before he slashes downward it points diagonally in an odd direction and then procedes as normal. Glitch? or did I do something wrong?

  • Im happy enough for the addition of being able to randomly spawn a family object. I have an idea though. Why not be able to make some parts of a family spawn more than others? for example: Objects A, B, and C are in a family.

    ---Bullet collides with Wall- Spawn Object Family- 50% Object A 30% object B 20%object C.

    donno if this would be hard to add or if its even a priority just thought it might be a good Idea.
