    What would recommend.

    I have a game that I have been working on and would like to use the Modular Game Template(MGT) with it.

    What would be the best approach.

    1: uses MGT and over the game events sheet and levels by importing my game code into is.

    2: Copy to MGT events sheets into my game.

    Query 1: in the example project, you have a "MetaData" array. What advantage does this array provided?

    I have been trying to follow your example in how your ready and write data to array, but i find that i still don't completely under some aspects of the code and so unsure if i should or not apply to my project.

    My goal is to get it to work in cocoonJS ( Android or ISO) with my personnel spelling app.

    If the TTS feature works works I aim to share it on the forum room.

    The problem with it is that the Speak feature opens a new tab in the bower and navigates you away from the game

    got it to work.

    To the keyboard to show up used.

    • On touched object - cocoonjs: prompt text input (in event sheet)

    used the General text plugin(not Text box for form) to hold my text.

    -every 1 second- set text to cocoonjs.inputText (in event sheet)

    P.s The preview only working in the cocoonjs launcher APP

    My test project outline.

    I am testing a project to see how to use the cocoonjs keyboard to enter text into textbox object and save it a variable.

    My current layout has:

    • a textbox object that should hold the text inputs for cocoonjs keyboard

    -sprit button to save current text in textbox

    -sprit button to clear text

    So far I have found that

    1 The textbox object does work or appear in the cocoonjs launcher on andriod

    2 I can even get the keyboard to show up in the cocoonjs launcher

    Can anyone help with the above or a work around

  • Hi all

    I found a way to get TTS in construct 2 (C2).

    The only problem is that it open a new web window lose forus from the game window.

    If any one can help, i would very grateful if you can get the web window to open in the background layer so you only hear the sound or some other work around of your own doing.

    I don't know much about javascript, so this was has far as i got with my testing.

    I would to create TTS as i made spelling game and TTS would help out a lot.

    I also aim to share TTS with the rest of C2.

    I lend a helping hand in creating some functions. too bad that C2 does not allow multiple people to work some project.

    I don't mind help as this will me increase my skill and make friend.

    I could not open your file, but you can alway try using multiple origin image points ans set them outside the object. when the current object is clicked it in turn will spawn a new object on a origin point that is outside your current object.

    hope this helps a little.

    MY C2 downloanded from steam which is currently not the most resent release of C2. So i could not open the file.

    Any it look like you solved it.

    I am still learn to, but made my first app not too long ago (block spelling game/ under the puzzle category in arcade).

    It is a spelling game for my self it's something i need to improve on and hope to do so more work on the game next year.

    The one thing i have learned is that things take much, much long to create by your self. if at all use the forum to ask for help, something i have just started to do.
