  • Thank you for your advice, Im well aware of this problem, but I dont know what must be done to make the main characters stand out in the scene without hurting the beauty in the bgs, maybe making them less vivid like you say, but I would like the background to be an important part of the game.

  • Hello, I already read the tutorial about Windows 8 in App Purchases, is ok for items you will get permanent, but what about consumible items that you can purchase again and again, like gold or coins.

Anybody can help me with this? I cant find a way to identify which item was purchased so I can add an amount of coins depending which item the user bought. And add it again if the user buys again.

    Thank you

  • Thanks for your comments and feedback, its very helpfull.

Its not fixed jump, if you keep the button pressed it jumps higher.

It will take me like a month or two to finish my project, after that I will work on this plugin again since I will need some enhancements for another project.

  • Right now I dont have time to keep updating, I will eventually after I finish my project, to use the plugin should be very simple, just get familiarized with how C2 works.

  • This would be a great feature, I export for CocoonJS and for Windows 8, sometimes I need to debug as an actual windows 8 application, and every time I need to change something Im forced to export the whole thing. It would be great just to export the script, replacing it and quoting mcdan: Voila! Ca est superb!

  • hazneliel That would be the glow effects on the lightning sprite. I removed the effects from the capx and it runs well.

You are right, now with the glow effect off it runs smoothly. The glow effect can be archeived with photoshop and an additive layer effect.

  • I had a go. This isn't actually the effect I was going for but I think it's kind of cool. This is very much a work in progress (messy event sheet) but it might give you ideas.

    lightningTest.capx (r114)

If you just want a single bolt, disable event 8.

I have been working with your recursive algorithm, its very cool. It has only one big problem, it drops fps drastically =S I tweaked it a little to improve performance but it still drops the fps to 45 in a high end computer.

Its still a nice effect but I havent found a solution to the fps drop =/

  • I already reported to them, they told me it is a memory management issue on Construct 2 and that I should contact you. Thats why Im contacting you here.

  • I have a switch button, it toggles a value on clicked or on touched.

The problem is in some browsers like in chrome, when I click the button it also triggers the touched event, so the value togles and togles back again to the initial state.

How can I workaround this problem, thank you.
