one thing i really like about your game setup, is that is has active scene changes like one of my favs - 'flashback'.

not only does it transition to the next scene smoothly, it maintains whatever movement you were doing at the time of transition. like if you jump as you come to the end of one scene, you transition jumping 'into' then next scene at the same height, speed and trajectory.

was this something you did in events or does it happen because of how your scenes switch? i really like this effect, that is why i am asking. because i plan to use it in future games i want to make.

  • i like the track, almost got my head nodding, until it got me killed...lol.

very nice sir. too bad about the effects support. this could easily be a good touch/tablet/mobile game.

maybe you can do an 'alternate' version for mobile, until they 'catch up'.

    heh...what he said.

  • mrharrio...of course...lol.

  • Not really - I am only an amateur making the game I would wan't myself. But that doesn't mean I wouldn't like others to enjoy it also :)

    > Awesome, some professional games coming out made in C2! Let us know how you fare on greenlight.

    O.....................M........................G

you may not be an 'employed' game designer, but you are by no means, in any sense of the word...an amateur. i believe that sqiddster means that the resulting product that you have modestly produced, is of a professional level in every sense; graphics, sounds, level design, animation, interaction, and all around, laser-shark frikkin coolness.

may you game dev long, and prosper.

  • really enjoyed myself playing this game. removing the 'dying' factor really helped to motivate me continuing to try to beat each level.

nice design. great art. solid, simple concept.

    well done.

i am sorry. it has taken me a while to catch up on my forum threads, and i never expect pm's so i never check them.

    my bad.

i'm glad you are still pushing forward. i think you have a really good concept to build on here.

what would you like me to do?
