  • And I love your attitude for game creation - "I want to make this so I can play it myself!"

    what he said...

  • christina,

love the game, and agree with , that having the select icon automagically appear, after the queen has made her demands known, would be good.

glad you did not spoon feed. i enjoyed finding out from failure, how to succeed.

that's how we all should be taught in school.

    well done.

whoever said 'charity is it's own reward' obviously did not understand the benefits of kindness for beer.

i'll hold you to those some day.

  • SwordNBoard,

i love the personal nature of why you are making this game. it makes gaming, the pursuit of it, and the love of it, even more real, for those of us who have been through similar experiences.

gaming can bring your through hard times, and make you stronger on the other side.

i will definitely back you sir.

  • bigmachine,

this is something that i have been wanting to do for ages in c2. defender is one of my all time fav games, and i wanted to do a clone but i was not sure how to handle the 'wrapping' mechanism.

not many 2d games work like defender did, where it had it's own inclusive 'world' on the screen, and you could navigate through it, with the help of the radar.

will you share how you pulled off the 'wrap'? i would love to hear how you managed that. plus, i think it would help enable a whole sub-genre of games to be made, using that 'wrap-world' mechanic.

love your retro graphics by the way...

  • LoganJFord,

it is a minimal game indeed, but the graphics are beautiful. textures, aesthetic and all.

    did you do them yourself?

  • Dave Hailwood,

great to see this progressing, and beginning to make you filthy frugal.

made it to the top ten in my first try. but of course, that is not enough. "there can be only one."

i really love how balanced this game is. which actually translates into, 'i really hate how when i have a commanding lead and think i can phone in the victory, the board makes me pay for my arrogance with some enemy potion payback.'

    keep going sir...and much success.
