  • Great idea but I suggest that maybe setting up an offical metting time say once a month. Possibly posting in advance when a developer may stop by for 15 min for Q&A.

  • Welcome to my GTG (Guyon Tileable Graphics) Projects:

    I am in the process of making a set of graphic tile sets for Construct games only. Sort of my way to give back to the the community. After getting some feedback from Doppel and deadeye I made a demo of that I will be proposing.

    Please take a look and post constructive criticism. I will be fixing corners on the final images. But my first thought is that I made the sides too small, or is that better since it gives the tile more play space.

    I am also interested if you think my quality is not good enough or this project is a waste of time since you can find other tileable sets of graphics on the web.

    I would appreciate that that this link does not get posted anywhere else so it does not blow out my box net account. If this project grows I will need to find a place to host it.

  • That came up my my spybot not my ani-virus program. So it may have been a false positive.

  • Why is my system reporting Smitfraud-C when I run that exe? Says that is is spyware. Is that a false positive? Any one else getting that?

    I would hate to get a virus by watching a program about bacteria. LOL

  • I sent it in but here it is in a lite version

    Edit Box is invisible at original location, or if moved to the far left will tracks with the car. New added Edit Box will be have the same way.

  • OK I really like layers now. But I still ma having the same problem. The Edit Box (NameEditBox) is invisible in the original spot but visible if I place it far to the left ( where your diagram is.

    Even on the layer it travels with the car when I put it to the left and it is visible. Is this a bug?

    Note: I did have the Scroll off but during the last trst of taking things off and putting them back on I forgot to add that fix.

    Thanks for the info about the layers but the input box is still screwed up.

    aHum.. Commercial now for a High Score Object. LOL

  • I have been fooling with this simple problem for hours now, but it just got stranger.

    While the Edit Box (NameEditBox) is on top of the Panel it is invisible, even thought I used the Order to Fount command.

    But if I move the Edit Box to the left of the panel it is visible and follows the car, even though the Attribute Center on View is not checked. NOTE if I add any new edit box to the right of the panel it follows the car. So strange.

    I need some help

  • Hiscore object? Why? What would it do that you can't already do with Construct?

    Well the high score board is much friendlier in Game maker. You can have say the top 5 names and scores all sorted with no work at all. I think that would be nice to have.

    Though I thought I remember seeing a post that a high score board would be added before 1.0 came out. Can't seem to find that post now though.

  • My Edit Box (NameEditBox Applicaiton1: Race Layout) is invisible. I have deleted it and re added it a dozen times but I still can not see it.

    If I make a new program it works fine. Can anyone tell me why NameEditBox is invisible?

  • deadeye - I had 2 Construct ( same version same exe) open in my example.

    I also had the persist problem and thought I lost my entire project. Lesson learned, do ot experiment with important projects. LOL
