  • You shouldn't run into any problems based on the information you've given. Construct 2 was designed to handle large projects as well. If you're still concerned, try making a performance test project from your assets (spawn tons of them with tons of animations, use particles, etc..) and see how far you can go.

  • I think he's talking about for a business.

300 might be a bit much for those that are just starting out.

A real high price would likely lead to more pirating, kind of like what happens with Photoshop.

In that case, I'm taking back what I said.

  • I love these kind of topic names

    Btw, nice suggestions, I agree.

  • Welcome, and happy developing

    I can't install this c2addon (construct 2 R216)

In the near future we can expect an update for this and maybe the integration into the software as well.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • In the editor you can find them in the project-bar under files>Icons..

I don't think it's possible to really remove them, but you can change them to your own icons or reduce their size to 1x1 pixels..

How could I not notice it? Thank you

  • It would be nice if we could customize this kind of stuff when exporting. I'd also love to see a way to change these icons inside the editor so I don't have to manually overwrite them every time I export.

  • Does it tell you an error message?

  • I don't see how you get all these errors and problems. Maybe you just had a bad day. I managed to publish my game to Google Play and on Amazon with a little learning of how to use the Intel XDK. I suggest, let it rest for a day and try to figure out what causes these problems. If you do it frustrated you'll just end up more angry.

  • In my opinion, I think they should keep what they currently have, but raise the 100 event limit for Free Users.

    +1 Maybe to 150.

  • I support the idea of having different websites dedicated to C2. It helps the community and the userbase grow for Scirra. However, I can agree with Kyatric too.

I'd suggest that make that website, but post all of the free tutorials/plugins/videos/etc here, on the offical site and put a big banner next to them: "Made by this amazing, Construct 2 learning website. You want more? Click here!"

Then on your website, you can link every free content to the Scirra site. So, it would be a cross-link solution.

You have free content on Scirra's site and a link to your webpage. And on your page if someone opens a free content, the user gets directed to the content on the Scirra site. Of course all of the paid content would be on your page exclusively.

  • This sounds like a good idea Keep us posted when you launch it.

  • Ask for a refund in Steam and buy your license here, on the offical website.

  • For those who are curious as to my decision...

    I purchased C2.

    Thanks for the advice.

I don't think you'll regret it. Happy developing

  • I don't know any book based on C2 but if someone does, I'm also interested in such document.
