AFAIR you just need to double click the sprite, and in a windows window (located in the newest exported photoshop images folder), drag & drop them to the sprite window.

This has been happening in C2 for quite a while. I've had a long-standing bug report that is still open. Depending on your reason for resizing the canvas, you may be able to get away with using a centered i-frame to display the canvas from another webpage.from April!

why are you working on flash? photoshop or illustrator should be better and have more tools. You should only work in Flash to create animations (with assets imported from a Photoshop PSD's or Illustrator's .AI files)
