  • Amazing, you have definately impressed me.

  • Bomberman explosion should fit really well, I also agree that a realistic explosion sound is not the way to go.

Working with the free trial is tough, all of your suggestions sound cool. Keeping the gameplay varied while still maintaining a challenge is hard work - but I think your up to it :)

Oh about the music, i think you made the right choice to start with it off at this point, once the explosion is different though i would start with music on - the speaker is pretty obvious, if people dont like it they can switch it off.

  • I got a laugh out of the racist comment - I think you got trolled on that one.

Graphics are good. concept is good. For what it is, I like it. Time to contact colgate for a sponsorship :)

  • A lot of progress, its twice as good as it was before.

  • Try Construct 3

  • I enjoyed this, was a little sad that it ended on stage 3.

Have the controls been updated? You might want to try something like the car will only slow down when you press down. At the moment you just let go of the keys and the car stops on its own. That might increase the difficulty a bit.

Have you played GTA (the original?), one thing paticularly cool about it was how the cars got beat up the more you crashed them - I think you could get some inspiration from it.

cool game and good luck with the contest.

  • You always have an interesting art style. I like it.

I would like to see some sfx like particles in the mix but I know you are marketing to mobiles - so with that said. Good job!

  • Hey Blue,

I like where you are going with this. The tank looks cool close in - so zoomed out a bit will make it look even better.

    How to zoom out?

Look up the mod Kyatrics signature - it has a wealth of information and is pretty much my first stop when i get stuck.

How to improve the physics? (rotates too slowly)

do you mean when the tank comes over a hill? I actually thought it looked pretty good.

How does the game show on your screen? On my screen

    Same for me.

How is the performance on your computer?

    Great! :)

How you think I should improve the game?

Zoomed out a lot more for a start, thats about all i can comment on at this point. Looking forward to you adding more though!

  • This is cool, the only thing its missing is particle effects when its cutting across the screen.

    Good work.

  • This is really cool.

    I love the cartoony graphics.

My only criticism is the sound effects for an enemy dying - its super loud! :)

Keep up the good work and good luck in the comp.

  • That was prety cool Dado,

The effect when you kill the enemy is cool, movement was smooth, instructions are nicely put beside the game if one ever needed to use them.

I noticed the sounds were muted when i first started the game, are you planning on updating them soon? I really liked the music - how it slowed down when you were almost dead, chugging the potion was a really cool sound effect too. However that one sound you hear the most (when enemies die) sounds like it is coming from an Atari!

Maybe replace that sound with a more cat-like sound.

Keep working on it and like Anthony, Im looking forward to more.

  • looking good as a starting point,

are you going to have full stages or is it going to be a 'beat the wave' of enemies style game?

  • Well that was pretty different!

Some work is needed on the control side - (I would have loved to use AWSD for movement, as my hand was naturally there to reload and use the bat etc).

But on the plus side, it very satisfying using that shotgun. The sound is excellent and reloading was fun. Smashing heads like they were letter boxes was cool as well. Spooky graphics :)

Unless your dead set on keeping fullscreen an option i would suggest using a fixed resolution that fit your graphics.

Keep working on this, look forward to testing the next version.

  • Hey Dk,

You could have your complete stages on seperate 'layouts' - and then transition between layouts when the stage is completed.

  • Create a variable 'dragged'.

Add 1 to it when the character is being dragged.

    Dragged = 1 -> Set solid - disabled.

  • I agree - that is really impressive, thanks for sharing the cap

Edit: The eventing is so short! Though i dont think ill be understand it for a while, lol.
