  • My first guess would be logic error but its too hard to say without seeing your project. Perhaps you can strip it down to the basics and post it.

  • Here is an alternative using border objects.

Remember this is just 2 simple ways, you could experiment with other conditions and come up with the best way to suit any particular project.

  • Here is how you do it with compare X, Compare Y

  • No worries zik, we all start somewhere.

ill make a quick example with bullet behaviour to show you. Just give me a couple of minutes.

  • You can compare an objects X value using - compare X

Maybe if the X is less than 0 or greater than 1280 you can change the condition to bring it back onto the right side. So instead of 360 it could be 180 etc.

Or you could have some invisible border objects that once overlapped do the same thing. Heaps of possibilities really.

  • Hey

I hadn't seen Dungeon of the Endless before but it looks amazing, will definitely be checking it out at some point.

I agree with you 100 percent with the on screen tips, it still needs to be clearer. Interesting idea with making it drag and drop, it could work well. I might experiment a bit and see how it feels in the not too distant future (I'm all for changing it if it provides a better experience).

Thanks for the feedback mate, be sure to let me know if and when I can return the favour!

  • You might find this interesting.

  • I have a couple of ideas but that's great to hear I'll be sure to let you know lolva.

    Version 1.5!

A new deck, couple of balance adjustments and some UI changes.

Most notably: It is now more difficult to accidentally move on the spot when you select a unit. In addition to seeing an enemy's move range, when it is your turn you can also now double click on a tile to bring up the card for the creature standing on it (though it doesn't show any blessings and curses attached yet). Added more tips to help guide new players.

That's it for the pre-constructed decks. The next update will include a rough deck editor. I cant wait to see what people put together! As always if you have any feedback I would love to hear it.

  • +1 I have wanted this feature for years but it never seems to be a popular suggestion when it is brought up.

Using the search function how it is, is cumbersome. It doesn't show sub-events so (if you use them) you cant rely on making changes without first clearing the search and then scrolling the mouse wheel like a mad man because when you have a lot of events on one sheet you cant use the bar on the side because it moves too fast.

Also, having everything separated into different event sheets is good, but if your searching for something and you don't remember where it is, it means you have to search multiple event sheets which makes it even more tedious.

A "go to" function just below the search box or simply having the search hang around a highlighted event when cleared would improve my workflow dramatically.

  • Yeah i did. Lol, I dont know how I managed that.

  • Thank you ,

Yeah a tutorial level is in the works I just haven't gotten around to it yet. I know what you mean about the card text. At the moment the minimum resolution is 800 x 600 so if you play in a window any smaller than that it is basically unreadable. I'll see what I can do. It would definitely be nice to still be able to play at a tiny res.

So far I have been working alone (the background itself is not my original work though), hopefully will get a couple more on board at some point.

Thanks again for the feedback, very much appreciated.

  • No problem, the only time I have had fps issues where I shouldn't have has been with computers with *integrated graphics. Hope you get it worked out.

  • This is awesome eli0s.

Steady 60 fps on desktop, cpu at about 30.

  • Hey Kan,

I am inclined to think its a driver issue but its weird if it does the same thing on 3 different computers. Do they all have integrated graphics by any chance? It runs at 60 fps for me though it does lose about 15 fps briefly when you first get connected to the peer.

  • Maybe there is a fancy equation that will allow you to offset individual objects by an amount based off the parallax values of the layer and the window size. I would be interested in seeing it done.

It might not help much but I have always set up mine in the editor.
