    Yeah I'm using this workaround, I've added a transparent pixel on the left. <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Hi Ashley

    I'm not sure I understand the concept of "tell-tale" <img src="smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

Yes, it's happening on all browsers, also tested on PC & Macs, updated drivers on all of them.

I'll send you the link to the exported project on a PM (supa-secret stuff going on here!)

  • I don't know if this could be related to R87, because I installed it before noticing this. Also didn't find any similar bugs in the recent posts, so here it goes:

I made a Tiled Background and I noticed that, if rotated or zoomed in, a small (probably less than a pixel) part of the next tile will bleed in, creating a glitch.

    <img src="http://www.gamma-beam.com/construct/bugex/weird_line_01.png" border="0" />

    <img src="http://www.gamma-beam.com/construct/bugex/weird_line_02.png" border="0" />

(the horizontal line is there because of the lower tiled bg)

    A few more information:

    • Setting the sampling to POINT will remove the problem.
    • Pixel rounding won't solve it.
    • The tile width & height is 128.
  • The best option would be to download the current date information from an online source, so that players could not fake dates or something like that.

Sadly, I can't help you with both options - but in interested to hear about this as well!

  • This is great! I'm working on a platformer and I'm having trouble setting a few of the animations.

I'll have a better look at it tonight!

  • Yes, unbounded scrolling must be on so this can work :)

I've made this example but hadn't used it since, so let me know if you find any bugs or weird behaviors.

  • 0plus1 I love you too, man

  • I've managed to create a good solution for this:

    scirra.com/forum/multiple-resolutions-solid-example_topic50496.html

So far didn't run into any bugs!

Yet I agree: Having a option to center the layout and bleed the remaining space could be very useful.

  • Here we go again!

I voted for better monetisation options because I'm sure C2 is already fit for making a commercial web game.

If I could pick another 2 options, it would be:

    1- Multiplayer (simply because I'm working on a 2 player idea :P)

2- Image Editors: a "fill with color" would do for fast prototyping! I'd love to see support for coordinate input on origins, action points and collision vertex. Oh, and also a preference option where I could set the default for "use bounding box" vs. "calculate collision" when importing images.

    That's it!

    Thanks Ashley!

    EDIT:

    Zetar

Indeed, a container (or parent object) would be great!

Even sweeter if we could define which properties should be inherited (position, scale, rotation, opacity)

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • Wow! This will come in handy on a new prototype I'm working on!

    Nice work!

  • Inheritance layers are indeed useful for UI recurring stuff like pause menus or even the players HUD.

I'd love to see this feature soon, but if there was another of those "what to do next?" I'm not sure if I would vote for it :P - positioning the items in a layout and setting a separate event sheet that can be included already does the trick for me :P

  • lucid

    Hit the jackpot! hahaha

  • I've bought Spriter Pro recently too, but I'll drop a few coins on the KS project once I get my salary :D

Lucid and the other devs really deserve it, Spriter will be huge!

  • sqiddster

    Yes yes! Exactly! <img src="smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • mitchjohnson52

Most likely! But I don't think it will reach a perfect performance anyway.
