  • I like the little big planet aesthetic, very nice for young children! Congrats

  • Today we, Teaboy Games, launched our third game made with Construct2. Very excited about this one, we spent a lot of time making it really slick. Would love to know what you think!

"Swing time away with Pendulum, a mesmerising mixture of enchanting puzzles, hypnotic artwork and music. Journey through over 90 levels avoiding obstacles, defying gravity and capturing the glowing targets."

  • If there is no resolution, I will take that path, but I have released multiple versions of this game without issue. I have had very good success using XDK for both iOS and Android so I do not want to stray too quickly, but thanks for the idea.

We've just been alerted to exactly this problem with an app we released last week! All other previous apps work fine, but only our newest one is seemingly incompatible with iOS 10. I'm guessing its an error with XDK, because we're using that too! This is a massive problem for us as we're right in the middle of a big marketing push on the game.

  • Hi there, Teaboy Games have just completed our latest project with a local charity where we made an app about the Colchester Roman Circus with 50+ young people involved in the process making artwork, audio and creative writing. For those not in the know, a Roman Circus is where Chariot Racing took place - and the circus in Colchester is the only, known, one of its kind in Britain!

As a small team of three developers, we were approached by the local charity who had already secured funding from the 'Heritage Lottery Fund'. This meant we were able to make the game free to download without having to stress over monetisation methods - the dream!

"Race to victory as a Roman Charioteer or explore Roman Colchester with three unique audio stories!"

  • I'm working on a very basic interactive map app - a simple 2D map that when you tap certain numbers an audio file plays alongside a short animation.

Since its for a museum, they're also keen to have a section with any news and upcoming events. Is there anyway C2 can pull this data from somewhere? Perhaps embed a google calendar, or possible even pull news updates from their website?

    Thanks in advance!

  • Thanks sandronize We actually got featured by Apple in 116 countries, so its been a mad few days!

Yeah we've found the it doesn't run too well on the iPad 2, so we actually put in the App Description that we recommend iPad 4 (iPad retina) or above. We're using the Cordova + Intel XDK wrapper

  • Can you send me a picture on Twitter?? It's not showing on my AppStore

  • Thanks for the kind words! All feedback is welcome and encouraged.

  • Yeah, I definitely feel they're pushing more paid apps lately which is exciting. We definitely want to experiment with a premium app in the future, adverts are just a really crap user experience!

Love the Sound Effects too btw

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • Oh wow, this is nice! Reminds me of the iOS game Prune, you have to prune a tree to make it grow in the right direction. Would definitely recommend checking it out

  • Love the font! Did you make this yourself? Very cool.

  • Love the colour scheme, so pretty! Are you getting good download numbers? It deserves it.

  • Beautifully little game, massive congrats on the feature! Did you have a contact at apple to help with this, or was it totally out of the blue?

  • As a composer myself, I always prefer to get involved sooner rather than later. It gives me more time to find the 'sound' of the game. There are plenty of royalty free sites for music, but if you can find somebody looking for 'experience' or even find the budget for a composer, then you'll get something unique and more suited to your game
