  • After some time with construct I came to conclusion that I spend too much time for clicking things in event editor. So my question is: is there text mode for writing events? I suppose it can be called "scripting language". And if not, is it hard to implement that as plug-in or it would require major changes in source code?

  • well, i dunno how its nowadays, but in past radeon was lame, and it has one weird thing - shitty shader support... it resulted in ugly non-filtrated shadows, and crazy bump ( u needed to set it to very hight quality in drivers, to get ok-looking bump maps, but that will be huge strike at performance) ...

    dunno maybe they fixed it on rv7xx.

    but my rv5xx shadows and bumps make me shit-brick for 2 years...

    only thing that run good on radeons is Marks ... but, wtf, who play marks ? t_t

    so for gaming i would recommend Nvidia ... for other things - Radeon ...

    I was really upset when have bought radeon x1950pro instead of nvidia 8600gts...

    so think twice and look at screenshots and fps, not just fps...

  • also you can make raid or if you don't wanna make raid - buy WD velociraptor as your system disk and other non-hispeed hdd for file storing(eg one 10000rpm 150gb and one 7200 1tb)...

  • ok, i set zoom to 200,200 and it works great.

    when i set it to 50,50 ... it do nothing :'(

    is that bug or i do something wrong?

    Game based on Warhammer 40k universe, will tell us a story about invasion of bad space marines on other planets...

    current development status: concept and art. (1%, lol)

    features:

    -classic run 'n gun gameplay

    -giant bosses

    -vehicles

    -big arsenal of guns, includes range-weapons and close-combat stuff.

    as you can see, i make this game only by myself, so development time will be looooong, i hope it will take less than 6 months

  • as was said in readme, it can use different dll names to work, however it will not work in construct runtime.

    it will work with compiled executable of your game.

    e.g. you making a game, adding a xbox360pad support, you can't use gamepad when debugging or launch from construct, you need to compile it somewhere, then copy emulator files to your compiled .exe directory e, and only then it will work

  • other gamepads work ok with xbox360pad emulator

    tested with PS2 and PC twin shock, btw u need to tweak it, if u use ps2 controller...
