  • Just wondering because i want to make sure that my IAP's work, are the In-App-Purchases on the Google Play Developer page activated by using the same IAP ID as on Construct 2? Or do i have to do something else? For example, i'm using the ID "greenplane" on the Google Play project, which is the same as on Construct 2. I'm using the Phonegap IAP plugin. Thanks!

  • I'm trying to get my game on Google Play, i used Intel XDK to get the APK. But when i try to upload the APK file into my Google Play project, it keeps showing the message " You need to use a different package name because "not.yet.specified" already exists in Google Play." I did upload the apk, not the zipped file. Anyone know how to fix this ? Thanks!

  • Eisenhans \ shinkan I'm getting a new phone soon, but i still play Clash Of Clans and other games like that with no lag. It's a pretty simple game, which i don't really care if it lags a lot on testing mode. I just want to make sure that it won't be like that when people play the game once i publish it. I haven't yet, but it's probably just a problem with my phone.

  • I specialize in mobile games, so i don't know much sites. But if your game is good enough, you could release it to Armor Games or Steam. I'm pretty sure Kongregate will let you release pretty much any game. You can always post to the Scirra Arcade too.

  • I tested my app on my phone in Intel XDK, and it was very laggy. It's an older version phone, so that might be a problem. It's a Galaxy S2. Are the games suppose to go in slow motion in testing mode? Also should the PhoneGap IAP plugin work in XDK? Thanks!

    I used GameSalad for a while and then i found out i couldn't even save a number/layout with a PC. Construct 2 is 10 times better and way easier. But you guys should have at least kept the WebStorage option for people who don't publish to or use Google Chrome.

    I've had lots of problems with the Local Storage, at first it stored a number from another project for some reason. Then it would work but when the game ended, the high score would change to half as it was before, so if it was 1,000, it would turn into 500. Once that was fixed, it wouldn't store the score when i started on another layout. I had to end up just installing an older version.

  • If you're using the PhoneGap IAP plugin, it won't work in regular preview mode. You would have to test it in Intel XDK or whatever you are using to export.

  • I just got it to work right, i changed the key and variable names and then it worked. Thanks for the help!

  • Okay, so i tested it and it worked fine. I got the score to 8,000 just to make sure it works. Then i copied the events into my game, and i tested it, the high score was going up fine as i played, but when the game was over, the high score went to 8,000. I went back to the one you made and i changed the score to 50. Then i tested my game again and the high score went to 50 when the game ended. So the high score was saving the project you made even though it was a whole another project. I even deleted the project and it still did the same thing. Do you know how to fix this? Sorry, i'm still a beginner. Thanks!
