  • If you want the object to follow the player but not actually rotate towards it, in the bullet settings change "set angle" to No and then use Object.Bullet -> Set Angle of Motion

    • Every Tick (Or you can use Every X seconds)
    • > Set Angle towards position OR Rotate towards position if you want it to be a slower turn
  • I'm not sure I quite understand what you want to do, but try the pin behavior.

  • Use what ramones said. It will only move the paddle while the player is touching the screen, and when they let go it will stay.

  • When you release the touch, the touch coordinates become 0,0 so if you have it constantly going to touch.X its going to move to the left side while not in touch. ramones said to use Touch: Is in touch because this will only move it while the player is touching the screen, meaning it wont move to the left side. and Whiteclaws those events are completely different, they would work differently.

  • When you collide with a portal, set a global variable called HitConnection as the portals Connection variable. Then, have a subevent For Each Portal and Portal.Connection == HitConnection -> Set HitConnection to -1 (To avoid referencing another portal afterwards) then set position to Portal.

  • You can give specific sprites an effect, OR you can make a semi-transparent image in an image editor such as photoshop, paint.NET, gimp, etc.

I'm doing this so I can complete my game. Do you not understand what kickstarter/Indiegogo is for?

  • You could just do find path to Wherever.X,Enemy.Y

  • I just made a campaign for my current project Timeless Runner on Indiegogo. This game is set in the future when people time travel for entertainment. The levels are infinitely and randomly generated with dangers including a pounder, and deadly platforms. I plan on having multiple points in time the player can unlock and visit.

Nope, I don't have anything that deletes them. I have a bunch of other temp files for projects but sometimes they randomly get deleted.

  • Yeah I think this is one of the best behaviors yet. It can be used for TDs,RTSs, Player Movement, could also be used for sleek menus I guess.

  • In Event 6 you need to find path to (Dictionary.Get("X-Position"), Dictionary.Get("Y-Position")) at the bottom of the event.

When one failed to find a path all you were doing was changing the dictionaries x,y and not actually finding a new path.

There weren't really any steps to reproduce. I made a small project, loaded 1 image file and made a different one in the editor. I saved it and came back to it a bit later and it said that when I opened it. The temp file is missing too.

  • My dream computer game (and one I plan on making) is one where there are demons that have stolen all the colour from a cartoony world. The players objective is to complete worlds to get the worlds colour back. As the world becomes more vibrant, the music changes, the images get softer, and of course the world becomes colourful once again.
