  • Its not opening but I think I get what your saying. I'll probably get it through enough experimentation

  • I understand what your saying but I mean literally making the mouse click. I'm wondering if its possible at all with any of the non game like objects...

  • Is there a way to make the mouse click once a certain action happens?

  • Try Construct 3

  • Thanks alot!

I knew it was something simple like that...

  • I think it was more the several doubts scirra title that was irking

Ya I have to agree with this. The idea that they're doubting what the program can do with little to no research.

  • How do you make a custom icon that shows on the executable instead of the construct logo. I'm sure there's a simple solution but I've been searching for around 20 minutes and I can't seem to find it :/

  • Lost my keys pretty much asked all the questions I wanted to know

  • Ok so I deleted temps and clicked run. It loaded a new preview and nothing popped up. So I took your advice and deleted the WHOLE layout I had just made. It was only 5 minutes worth of work so it wasn't a waste. It was just a rough menu for my game and contained a few text objects, a tiled background, and only one event that detects a keypress and moves to the next layout. I redeleted temps and now its working perfectly

I hope telling you this helps you guys out a bit

  • This only just started happening...

I click to see a preview and nothing pops up. When I click preview again it says one is already running. When I open up my task manager it only shows construct as being open, no preview whatsoever. I restarted my computer and the same thing happened

Am I doing something wrong or is something wrong with the program or my computer?

  • ok thanks again

  • Is it possible to exchange the shiney green graphic in the progress bar with a custom graphic or at least a different color?

  • Did you make sure you reopened the layout itself? The application does load, but if the layout does't automatically appear, then it can look like nothing loaded at all.

I think deleting the .persist file that goes with it will prevent it "remembering" what part of the application you had open when you saved it last. So check your projects list, should still be in there.

    The layout wasn't open...

    This worked... thanks alot!

I feel kind of stupid right now but thanks anyway

I'm really sick with a 102 fever right now and I can't think straight

But after about a minute looking through the project file I found it...

  • I opened up my project that I've put over five hours into to implement my own custom particles system and there was literally nothing in the file. It was just like when you open up construct with no file loaded. There where no layers on the screen,no objects, no events... absolutely nothing. Am I missing something here or was my whole project deleted?

  • ok thanks

Thats a bit inconvenient but not hard to set up
