  • Hi again.Sorry for being away for so long ,had a nasty lung virus.Anyway here is an example off a character swapping with other objects.If he cannot get past a wall he can swap with other objects to the other side.Made with Classic Construct R2

  • Picture this you are satan ,your goal is to destroy mankind. The game will be like a sims type game where you can create wars,earthquakes,diseases etc.You can also command your minions to wreak havok on the townships.The more havok and chaos you create the more points you get.

  • Does this image tearing appear when you play ordinary games or just when you use construct?.It can also be a directx9 file which could be corrupted.I had the same problems with classic construct,I fixed the prob by running dxsetup again.I had an ancient geforce 8800 gs card when i got this problem.

  • There's a feature called powerpose ,You can use that to create animations from scratch.

  • Winxp home and pro editions 32 bit = Works fine

    Win 7 Basic and Premiun 64 bit = Works fine

    I tested it with a nvidia geforce 8800 gs card , A mobile ati radeon 5450

    and an Intel hd 2000 card and each one does not come up with any probs ,i have tried to create non power off 2 tilesets and huge textures but i still don't get the framerate problems.

    Try to re install Classic Construct and see what happens.

  • Is vsync turned on or off on your gfx card settings?.I don't have any problems running vsync in fullscreen mode.What is resolution when you switch over to vsync?.And what operating systems are you testing the game on.If you can make an example cap file then we might be able to help.

  • I have been using blender since it first came out.It is an powerful app to work with ,but the interface is quite a mess compared to daz3d.Doing animations with daz3d is also much easier to do than blender.Most of posers models also work with daz which means there are lots of free models out there to download which could be used in daz3d.

    Daz is mostly used for quick renders and ideas where blender can be used for more professional and polished stuff.Also the renders are a bit bland with daz3d Which means more postwork has to be done , blender is way better with it's rendering techniques.And blender has that fantastic cartoon shaders already built in for free.Daz3d also sports cartoon rendering but it's definitely not as good as blender.

  • kittiewan thnx for the help.But the question was how could i make different animations easier using less even'ts and actions.Tulamide has yet to show me how this can be done in just two events.Event grouping does help but there's a delay when event's are grouped ie i have to press the attack button twice to activate the attack animation event.

    I always compare different apps ,to see which one works better until someone can show me that the other app is indeed easier or better through an example or demo.As the old saying goes , Actions speak louder than words.

  • "I don't need "a lot of sub event's running", or "using variables and subevents". All I need are 2 events to exactly have the described functionality. Maybe it is better to learn how CC works, instead of expecting it to behave like GM, XNA and others you always compare it with?"

  • You mean like Encrypted .dat files or something?.I don't think there's an official way of doing this.I could be wrong though.It would have been nice if there was a separate editor to save map files for stages and some dat or whatever you want to call it encrypted files for your sprites etc...
