  • Zombies lots off em.Isometric pixel art buildings.Animated seashore's ie streets off rage 2.5d style tiles and backgrounds.that's all i can think off for the moment.

  • My next spritepack will be pixel art chars and buildings.Still studying the tutorials about pixel art and i simply fell in love with it.If i can create some decent looking pixel art sprites i will post some small packs for everyone to enjoy.

  • Easiest way is to import the same sprite numerous times and to create a shadow object for each sprite.

    Here's an example cap file.The cap was created with classic construct R2.

  • Glad you like it cjr1974 , glerikud.I am busy with the next free spritepack collection at the moment.It will take some time to finish this particular free spritepack though.

  • I have tried other game making apps and all off them have issues of some kind.The trick is to find workarounds for these bugs.html5 is quite stable these days.from what i have seen with c2's arcade section ,you can create professional games using c2.

  • ratedxr : If nothing goes wrong it should be finished within 3 months time.The full game will be 100% free ,seeing that this is my 1st attempt at a racing game with unity3d.I will luanch the game on my website once it's completed.

    If there's enough interrest then i will create updates to the game and sell the updates like new cars , Upgrades to engines etc..The android version will also be free.I am also thinking off selling some off my assets from the unity store.I have made some 3d models and textures which are unity3d ready models.

    I am busy with the car ai scripts now.There are a few good scripts out there on car ai ,but i want to create my own scripts because theres a destruction derby type mode within the game as well.So i have to create separate models for each car.One with damage and one without damage.

  • ratedxr : Basically on my own yes.Got some friends helping me out with the beta testing ,Sounds and music for the game.For me unity is alot like construct.The ease off use ,Fantastic drag and drop interface etc...

  • ratedxr : Made the track with blender 2.49 and exported it to fbx format for unity.The trees and rocks were from the unity package on the unity website.And the hummer car asset is from ctrl-j.I modified the cars textures ,Did the track model and made the 2d spectators with daz3d's chars.I also did the rearview mirror and the map.

    I will post the demo game on this thread as soon as its finished.

  • Some updates to the scirra track.Made a rearview mirror,topdown map and some spectators.Next on the list will be some proper ai cars , A Track selection screen and the ability to upgrade the car's suspension ,engine etc.Thank's to everyone for your compliments.

    ratedxr : Got the car scripts from ctrl-j.The game will be available for windows and android.As soon as i have a beta demo ready i will post it on my website.

  • Most game dev's i know loves construct and construct 2.The only gripe they have with this app is that it's an event driven app and that it does not support such a wide range off stuff.

  • I use inkscape , photoshop ,paint shop pro and daz3d for my sprites.

  • Making some progress with the track and the racing cars.Big thanks goes out to CTR-J for his jcar scripts and assets.
