  • I released my first completed game with Construct 2!

Liar's Dice Poker is a fun game to play with friends on a single device. The object of the game is to get a good 'hand' with the dice by shaking them. However, if you don't get a good enough hand, you can lie and tell the next player your hand is better than it actually is. The next player can decide whether or not you're telling the truth. If they believe you, regardless of whether they were right, they have to try to get an even better hand. If they call you a liar, and they're right, you get a scratch against you. But if they're wrong, it's a scratch against them. You continue to pass the device around, with as many players as you want!

Thanks for trying it, and any feedback is welcome!

  • Tokinsom Yeah, downloading some emulators works way better, but with the in-browser emulation, there's a bit less worry about viruses and stuff.

  • 99% of the time someone or something references the Illuminati, they have nothing to do with them, often they're just making fun of them/conspiracy theories. Also, the 'All-seeing eye' isn't specifically Illuminati. I mean, it's on the US $1.

  • Okay, I tried both of those originally, and the vibrate didn't work, and I must have just been putting the wrong parameters in for "Compare acceleration". Thanks for your help, EyeForcz.

  • Also, on a side note, is there a certain way to get 'vibrate' to work on iOS? I can't get that to work either.

    Thanks.

  • It's still not working for me... what event should I use, and what are some reasonable parameters?

  • Thanks, I'll look into that.

  • I want to trigger an event when the player shakes their phone, but I'm not quite sure how to go about it. If it helps, I'm focused mainly on iOS.

    Thanks.

  • Thanks!

  • lucid Do you have an example capx that shows more advanced features such as animation blending?

    Thanks

  • I am subscribed to emails whenever a new English tutorial is published. However, I have not received such an email since September 23. Obviously, there have been tutorials posted since then. I've checked, and they aren't going to spam or junk mail or anything, so what's up?

  • Yeah... you can't change the actual website, you CAN change the way it looks on your own screen. Like Aphrodite said, there's security measures with websites, or else the internet would be a whole bunch of pages that make absolutely no sense whatsoever. So I'm not really sure what you're getting at here either.

  • Okay. Thanks for your help!
