  • Ah, so that's what the private variables are about!

They're about a whole lot more than just that. You can store whatever value you want, for whatever purpose you want.

  • I don't think these filters really need shaders, they've been in things like console emulators with no hardware acceleration for years. Filters like 2xSaI and such are meant to be real-time filters.

But making a shader maybe would benefit it? I dunno.

You can replacy icon using RecHacker

    OR...

You can just go to the resources bar right click on the default icon under the Icon menu and hit edit.

  • I finished drawing the sprites a couple days ago, and just this morning I started putting the next .cap together.

    Sorry, I've been lazy .

  • It keeps crashing

    WHYYYYYYYYY?!?

    LOL that's awesome

  • I've beaten the first level of SMB with my eyes closed several times. It's not that hard.

Try passing 1-2 with your eyes closed and then we'll talk.

  • Here's an example of one way to do it:

Bleah, you've got replies now but I made this example so I'm going to post it, dammit

  • I guess you learned the hard way about the importance of backups, especially when using a beta product. I know it ****** and I do feel your pain because I've lost stuff too.

But... when I'm working on things now I make VERY frequent backups. This Cursed Rock had almost 100 backups. Platform School currently has 50. It might seem like overkill, but if I lose any work then I only have to go back a couple of hours, rather than start all over again.

  • I think you should just keep the random function the same. I have quite a few things that would be half-broken.

Your noble sacrifice is for the greater good. Waver not, and face your fate though it may be grim... for yours is the glorious death of a warrior.

  • > I just edited my earlier post, I'll repeat it though... "Load" and "Autoplay from resource" only work for .wav files, so if you want to use sound effects, you want to convert ogg to wav.

then why does it say that oggs are a supported channel file format?

Beats me. Sorry about that, it looks like the wiki needs updating, maybe?

  • With no events

    [attachment=0:1dty4lpl][/attachment:1dty4lpl]

Uses unbounded scrolling and Wrap behavior. The beginning and ending level elements are repeated to give the illusion that the level loops around forever. Example posted for procrastinator, based of a chat discussion.

  • There currently isn't any way to do so. It's been suggested as a feature request, I believe.

  • I don't know. If you're playing an .ogg on a channel it should work, so... bug report?

But maybe you should post your .cap and .ogg file first so someone can take a look, though.
