  • Right now I do not have access to a workstation with the project on it.When I can, I'll let you know what we did. Sorry but it maybe a day or two until I can. I'm actually the audio guy. I was just trying to help the guys working on the game by finding info for them. So, I can't tell you off hand.

  • Nvm, we fixed it.

  • Awesome, thank you so very much. It works. I was not thinking clearly enough when working with it earlier, makes since now. You're awesome Ryan.

  • Try Construct 3

  • Thank you guys for the quick replies. I may not have explained it correctly. Our level is comprised of several obstacles which the player jumps over. Some of these obstacles are setup to where if the player were to hold down the jump input key, they could continue to jump over the obstacles. The methods above suggest a "upon release" trigger. We have no problem with the release, we just wish to have our main sprite continue to jump if the input key is held down.

  • Title says it. How can it be done? Right now we are just using the platform behavior and it doesn't seem to be an option for it.

  • Having the same issue. Seems as though it'll work 80% of the time then fail to register. NumLock is off. Haven't found any information as of yet in my searches to help us resolve the issue. We created a sprite then applied our texture to it. Any advice?

  • Hey Guys,

My name is Daniel Moore, I am a father of a wonderful 9 month old baby girl, and have very supportive wife who loves the idea of making a mobile game. With that said, I haven't ventured into the game creation world since I was 18. I have messed with FPS Creator and Unity 3d before in the past. I have only a very basic understanding of computer based languages and artistic talent which brings me here to the forums.

My primary "thing" that I do on a day to day basis is sound design for fun, and then for 70+ hours a week, I drive a truck. So, when my wife suggested we should make a game I kinda chuckled (making games isn't fun I thought to myself). Construct 2 seems very promising, and I'll be trying out the free copy tonight. If all of my tests work, we will be upgrading to the personal license.

I have a few questions to ask but I'll save those for the proper thread, I just thought I would drop a hello to all of you and I look forward to the future inquiries. Hopefully I can be as helpful to anyone here as I hope you guys can be with me.

    Thank You all,

    Daniel J. Moore
