  Hey Rex, really hoping for some clarification on how I SEARCH for values?

  I was able to use itemTable to pull down ALL the data, but I only want data that has status:new.

  I'm super confused on if Firebase and your plugin can query... So I tried the Query plugin, and can't do anything with it.

  I haven't found any good tutorials past Leaderboard -- which isn't what I need.

  Any help appreciated!

  Hey I'm having a SUPER hard time figuring out how to retrieve certain data.

  In MySQL it would be like "SELECT * FROM players WHERE username="JohnSnow77"

  But how the heck do you do this in Firebase? So far I can only pull down ALL the data at once and then loop through it.... is this wrong?!

  I had missed adding "HUD" as a non global layout, to be overridden by the global layout "HUD" in my other Layout.

  That little trick... WORKS!

  Great tutorial, follow it, it'll work.

  On mobile... nothing happens.

  I'm using the browser object to open window in new tab.

  What am I missing?

  Ashley is correct, and this cannot be avoided.

  What you need to do is measure how much time has passed since the tab was last active, this you CAN do.

  From here, you simulate your game play. Which can be hard to do, but far from impossible.
