  • I am making a boost style 2d sonic game, anyway with the Sprinting animation I have set for sonic the animation speed is a bit scewif. Is there a way I can set the animation speed of his sprinting animation to the current speed that sonic is running at (gradually get faster as sonic moves)?

  • hey all. I am trying to replicate the boost mechanic of the modern sonic games and I am trying to figure out how to make it work. How would I make it that if I hold down a key sonic will boost in the direction he is moving and have a boost meter that only allows sonic to boost if the meter is full.

  • I am making an arcade racing game and I am wanting to impliment a nitro boost system similar to games like burnout and hydro thunder. In other words If they key is held down I wan't to boost the car forward and stop the boost if the meter runs out or the key is released

  • well what I'm trying to say is when the game starts I wan't to defaulty make the layout paused, and while the layout is paused press a key to proceed to the player's next animation frame and when I press enter to unpause the layout I want to disable the colur change so the player cannot change their colour anymore

  • hey man I'm using this behaviour aswell for my little sonic fan game, does this have a feature for making spring physics like the yellow and red springs from the game, I am needing springs to allow sonic to reach higher areas

  • for my racing game I want the players to be able to choose the avaialble colour for their car using a key, I have the other car colours set up as animation frames, I know how to do that with the key press but I want to be able to disable the race events while the players choose their colour and then press enter to start the race. Woult I put the race events in a group to achieve this ?

  • I am making a fan made 2d meroid game where co op is half mandatory, both players are playing as samus (P2 being a different color), but for some reason when player 1 samus is jumping, Player 2 samus's jump animation doesn't work, her idle animation plays instead when jumping. Any ideas of what could be wrong ?
