  • I am still kinda new to Construct engine. I want to see how games run on android device with Construct 3. So, I took a Kiwi game and tested it on an android device Galaxy S6. I didn't change many codes. All i did just added 3 touch buttons. The rest of the codes remained the same. The foreground and kiwi animation seem to be a little bit lag. It looks like the game skip few frames when kiwi runs. The gameplay is just not smooth. Is C2 running well on android? or is the same? Or Construct 2/3 are just not ready for mobile? Can someone show me if they can run kiwi game on android smoothly?

    Thanks for pointing it out. I am still learning construct logic and trying to remember everything. I should have check the array earlier. But i was keep browsing local storage expressions instead. You save a lot of my time. Now the problem is solved. Thank you very much!! i really appreciate your help !

    I have a series numbers in array. is anyway i can save them into local storage? is local storage only can store a string or a number? How is it possible to store array data?

  • r 51 fix this problem. but it was weird. even tho i use the example from the official

  • In r50 version i have this issue. My friend does not have this issue. But when i switch back to r49 everything back to normal.

  • I just open my project after the update. My scene is messed up! My 2D tiles became blocks, but as i hit the play the scene is totally fine. Please fix it!

  • Construct 3 is still a beta. Thats why i still hesitated to put money into this engine. Otherwise we cant make money with this engine.

    i can relate with you is the other way around. i love construct 2 but i think the end is very near so i am looking a next software to use. Or i never use construct 3 but with the direction it is going like Gamesalad force me to now go learn a new engine all over again

    I've been using gamesalad for 5 years. Gamesalad is struggling with their developments. They have very slow progression for updating their engine. Gamesalad still dont have snap to grid, can you believe it!!! People request this feature 4 years ago!!! Also, they tried to create new engines to replace gamesalad in these years. But they all failed. Yes, they are developing the web version now. However, I dont feel good about this base on their history. Most of veterans gamesalad users have left them. They're unstable and unreliable.

    I am not sure about construct. They still dont have advertising for developers. How do developers make money then??? I am mainly focus on mobile games. Now I am having a headache finding a right engine for non-coding user.

  • Recently found construct 3. Its not hard to use. But I am still hesitate put all of my time to learn it. Since Gamesalad is pretty much done. I am afraid to learn the engine end up in the same fate. so i need to ask some people for advise.

    is there any problem exporting a game to ios and andriod?

    Can i apply iap, ads, and leaderboard to my games?

    Can i create exe for window?

    I only want to make 2d game, is this the right engine for making 2d game?
