  • Sorry about the joke:)

Take a map that you like, rotate 180 degree, change the hue , change some details and you can say you got inspired.

Is not that uncommon this days...until you afford to pay an artist

  • Here is my example of reusing events in C2 using a combination of Ditto + AutoHotKey

This is not the best approach... but can be a time saver .

This method saves the content of clipboard to disk using Ditto clipboard manager and automatically loads that content back to clipboard when needed just by using a script in AutoHotKey (needed to run in background). You can save as many snippets as you like.

Sorry about the wrong spelling an the bad video quality... but here is the script used in this video. replace the file path to match your file location

    ::snip movetolayer::

    run "d:\3---salvari\6---Construct_2\_snipets\ditto clips\movetolayer.dto"

[EDIT] make sure objects, behaviours and plugins are beforehand loaded in C2. In my case "function" plugin need to be loaded first.

  • Anyone please?

    Thank you

  • Thanks keepee never knew about clicking the middle button. Silly me.

  • I had this frustration when using my mouse wheel to scroll through event sheet editor. Since Construct 2 allow to scroll only 1 line at a time, I found a little mouse enhancement software that allows to scroll more lines at a time + scroll the background windows (without clicking on them first to make the active ).

    STEPS:

    1. Download KatMouse from here: http://download.cnet.com/KatMouse/3000-18491_4-24138.html or from any other place (for me, the last version 7 is not working on win7 x64. I am using version 1.04)

    2. After installing the software, go to settings ->classes tab and drag the cross icon over the event sheed editor in C2

2a. I forgot about this step. Disable this so you can open links in a new browser tab by pressing middle button

    3. Double-click the class name in KatMouse

4.Set how many lines at a time you want to scroll with your mouse wheel

If you have problems when Google Chrome zoom in/out for no reason, you can repeat step 2 but this time drag the cross icon over Chrome, and on step 3 make sure to check "Windows has wheel scrolling support?"

    That's it !

  • I hope we never have that access denied every time we post a new reply. Also not a big issue but the colors are too saturated and all over the rainbow(green, orange, cyan, black+white). My eyes burn...and I am working nights most of the time...
