    They do, it's just limited to 3 thanks to DirectX 9.

  • Also it's faster to use power-of-two sizes. Most old hardware can't support odd texture resolutions, causing them to painfully resample the texture itself on load (and look blurry while adding some load time).

  • Yeah and don't be the pot calling the kettle black either. Sure it's not sprite rips, but I couldn't draw tanks like that when I started using Klik & Play many ages back. It's not about the art but about the implementation.

    The health bars seem to look like i'm GAINING health when damaged. That threw me off. I gained to full health then I dead.

  • When I "found" Construct after a looong search of a program for game developing, I made a picture of a tiger from 3D Studio Max with a "Wave horizontal" effect. This wasn't useful as a game, but I learned the basics like I always do - using the first buttons I see, while reading the tooltips.

    Ok, where's the creation?

  • 16:9, 1280x720 ratio is a growing (yet annoying) trend. Braid does it. Bionic Commando Rearmed does it. Guess 4:3 is looked on as an obsolete ratio even though I love that and try to survive all of my old CRTs for as long as they possibly can live.

    Just do 800x600. Any monitor will support it.

    WRONG. My IBM PS/2 monitor doesn't support it!

  • Just don't minimize often for long periods of time - you'll sometimes get a nice crash when you restore.

  • Too bad the installer sucks. I was never able to install it.

  • To be honest, it's not as bad as the problem with the Racing Line clones in the KNP world in 95 (Some of them even exploitative and 'shareware' contradicting the strict usage license of the KNP software applied to games)
