  • polygons don't necessarily mean 3D. just multiple vertices. like ethan said, more in terms of loco roco and gish.

    edit: also odd. editing your events list wont let me add a system command. O_o

    edit: i started a new .cap and when i add a family system seems to dissapear from the options on the add event in the event list. only groupings are "objects" and "familes". system is nowhere to be found.

    in the meantime. i just uninstalled and reinstalled .93

    now everytime i open it "construct: Update" pops up and makes me install "Runtime/PlatformMov.csx"

  • you can use directX on linux.

    if youre a linux user you know about wine. although its not exactly 100% stable, its out there.

  • also about the 3d box.

    you can change the yaw pitch and roll during runtime but can only edit the roll in the layout editor. maybe some extra handles on the object for those?

  • wouldnt scirra be considered a company? which would qualify. you are producing a product (although free and open sourced) but a product none the less. it is licensed under GPL so include that as well.

    its just a matter of including the right things.

    but maybe not.

  • i dont think ill have a problem with file corruption since i havent even saved a project yet. i usually do something and it makes construct freak out.

    i put a system condition "while" in an event and when i run the preview it doesnt run, although it shows up in my processes. i have to end the process for construct to work again. and then it seems to crash randomly. usually after i do something as well. "construct has stopped working and needs to close"

    but at this point im not really using it. more of just messing around with it until its completely usable.
