  • great!! weve had a few dozen members joining and playing each others games.. not sure how many are active here but thank you and keep it up.. Support each others projects!! its such a better way than just trying to market your own!!

  • yeah that's the thing, big companies will spend more money we will ever earn only for one marketing campaign :/

    yeah they will, but this an encouragment/support project.. absolutely nothing is required.. but its a worthwhile concept

  • Not sure what to think about that, I have mixed feelings.

    On one side it's evil

    I know some people will feel that way... but these services are commercially available.. dont think for a second big developers dont pay for cross promotion and installs.. this is a free resource with the intent of helping other people.. its not artificial any more than in game ads are for other games..

    but im sure i will catch some backlash... its ok i have thick skin

  • Im trying to roll the ball on a new facebook group dedicated to getting free installs of your published apps.. basically its a support network. I will install/ rate anything posted if im able.. the tradeoff is to try other peoples posted games too.

    their is a huge community of developers and it would be awesome to help each other out.. even 50 installs can make a game viable..

  • It's a shame you cancelled the project as I thought it would've driven you to work even harder, but hopefully that's why you've cancelled.. to give yourself more time to work on it

    no worries!! you had great advise.. We came to the realization that this wasnt our focus.. and wasnt very appealing from outside our circle.. ive published the game on amazon for free and have takencs the position it was a training excercise.. i really do appreciate the feedback.. dont ever be afraid to tell it like it is man.. we are cactually working on a really cool dtealth gsme w very unique mechanics.. im excited to start

  • tyler thaks man.. i had a lot of the same ideas/concerns, am working on them.. it was fun to make and a good trial for me to learn the software.. im prob gonna just keep as a free app with minimal further developmnt as i m teamed with an artist and writer for a really cool stealth game.. i got stuck with the logic part lol...hopefu;;y after i buy my license i can revise and make a couple bucks until then its on amazon for freezies
