  • Now the time is GMT 0:05:00 Friday. However, the price of this book is still USD11.99.

Anyone knows when the free download will start? Thank you very much!

  • Good news! I think that I will buy the bundle at USD1.

Upgrading to the new version 2.5 is only USD39. Quite good.

Perhaps YoYo Games' recent USD25 to GameMaker Studio Standard has an impact on Clickteam.

  • I prefere C2 to GMS for the time being, if only for cost.

I think that both softwares are good! However, I hear that Gamemaker Studio: Standard is now free.

  • I don't know how many times I need to say it, but I'm not here to promote my book. If it sells a few copies from me posting here, great. If not, doesn't matter. This is a very small forum.

    Hi, four things:

    I. Your book may be too expensive. USD19.99 should have at least 200 pages.

    2. If you write review of Construct 2 on your blog in the future, please also write detailed reviews of other similar tools on your website. ( GM, Stencyl, GameSalad, Multimedia Fusion and Game Editor.) Your readers should want to know more about different tools. Your professional comments will help your readers.

    3. Many websites only accept Flash games but still don't accept HTML5 game. Why? What is the actual reason? As a result, it is very diffcult to make money with HTML5 games. Do you agree? I hope to read your professional opinions..!

    4. About your September income report:

    truevalhalla.com/blog

I am glad that you share your detailed income report with us. However, the report doesn't show any sale figure of game for Windows platform. Do you abandon Windows platform? Why?

  • Hi,

The game is good and the style of the graphics of this game is special.

    <img src="smileys/smiley32.gif" border="0" align="middle" />      <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

I like a bigger game screen(800x600) but the current size of the game screen is also nice.

  • Hi, I think that this game is quit nice...sure!

    <img src="smileys/smiley32.gif" border="0" align="middle" />       <img src="smileys/smiley32.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

In addition, I like that this game's game screen is very large!

    <img src="smileys/smiley32.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

In fact, many HTML5 games are only with small game screens.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • I like the game...yes!

I also like that the game screen is quite large(800x600). Many HTML5 games are with a small game screen!!

  • Hi, I notice that there is a free e-magazine about game development!!

I think that this e-magazine is nice. I like the game reviews in each issue of this e-magazine:

  • We're just a small team so it might take us some time to get round to it!

I have confidence in you and Construct.!!

    <img src="smileys/smiley20.gif" border="0" align="middle" />      <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle" />      <img src="smileys/smiley42.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Actually, you do sound like a marketing guy.

Hi, I only try to analyse the situation...

    <img src="smileys/smiley5.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • As I was scanning the forum, it struck me; with the original Construct and C2 so closely named, sometimes it's confusing to know which is being discussed.

Does anyone else favor C2 being given a new name? "Construct 2" works, sure. But putting forum confusion aside, the name makes it feel more like an update rather than an unique thing built from the ground up. I thought something like "Kanvas" would be cool as C2 utilizes the HTML5 Canvas element. Maybe KanvasPro for the paid version and KanvasLite for the free?

    Just putting it out there.

Hi, I agree with you. My suggestion is Game Constructor.

  • Ashley,

Is it possible in future C2 versions one EXE exporter ? It?s very interesting option too !

Writing a game once in C2, then EXE game and HTML5 game can be exported. There is no doubt that EXE exporter of C2 will attract more people to buy and use C2. After EXE exporter, IPhone exporter should be a suitable next target...
