  • There actually is an ingame-purchase behavior in Construct2.

    https://www.scirra.com/manual/173/iap

It supports CocoonJS, which is the "by my experience" best wrapper till now to go for iOS and Android.

  • Hey Buddies,

just a small issue, but the curve which displays weekly postings on the User-Panel stopped working. As you see in my history, there should be some posts for now

Post-count in general and the consecutive-rating seem to still work fine.

    See attachment!

  • It´s like making an in game -shop, where you can buy stuff (upgrade/levels/characters/items...what ever you want) for real money.

You can just make an own money for you game....like gold and sell it for

    0,99$ = pack of 99 gold

    4,99$ = chest of 1000 gold

    etc etc.

That´s how most of the games on Appstore handle it.

As I see you are a new user to C2...don´t even bother with this. People won´t buy your stuff, unless your game is really great. Concentrate on making a working super addicting game first!

  • To be honest...

if you don´t have a 100$ for the license but want to spend money for a green light-process, there is something wrong... Steam is one of the hardest goals to go for, pretty hard even for super-experienced users to get on it.

I think you never really informed yourself about publishing or selling games really. There are tons of possibilities to sell your stuff. FGl.com for example sells licenses of your game to Arcade-Sites...you can easily make a few 1000 bucks there, if your game´s cool and enjoyable.

Too be honest, I don´t think that the small amount of active german users here really needs this, cause their english is good enough or they´re already acceptable Constructors

I also would´t aim at this community. New members, which may never take a look at the forums, may need a Helping Hand to get started way more. This would help to avoid a decent amount of rookie-mistakes.

  • Try Construct 3

  • looks great Have seen this around a while ago and what you made of it is absolutely cool.

Sorry for my bad english buddy That´s exactly what I meant. You saved my day! Too bad here isn´t a "Thanks" button!

  • I need to scale down a lot of objects, but don´t want to change their relative-places to each other.

When I just select and scale them, their size is reduced, but they stay on position. Is there any chance to scale them just normal and not strange like this?

  • Roccinio

Well yeah, I noticed the same using Flash-Animations. The ability of using vectors inside C2 would be absolutely graceful! To me this would be a Number1 feature to add.

I made a lot of C2 projects already and none of them was that sawteeth't on it´s borders, so I think I may changed to point-sampling. Need to check that out.

I really need to get the quality to the max, cause it´s a customers project, which would be a great benefit on my portfolio. I may need to keep things in one single picture, to avoid the stupid unsharp boundaries of transparent PNG. Inside the picture itself it seems to be super good.

  • Thanks for that reply man

I´ll check that out at home. Any other advises are of course still welcome

  • Hey friends,

I noticed, that some graphics are a little pixelated on the borders, while play my game in C2, others are sharp as knifes, while running. In the editor, they all look absolutely well.

How can that come? Is it about scaling (just downscaled them, so they are absolutely good enough at resolution) or about some rendering-options in C2? Already checked different scaling/non-scaling...not really 100% good.

I really need to get everything absolutely sharp, so I´m up to any suggestion friends.

The sprites aren´t moving btw, they are just fix pictures, really nothing special.

  • 1. Diablo 1+2+3

    2. Starcraft

    3. AoE

    4. Contra aka. Super Probotector Alien Rebels

    5. War of the Monsters

    10. FIFA

    could add a million more....

  • It´s one big appstore, only search results and language differ!

  • To be honest, I don´t really understand your screen problem. If you want to let the player appear on the other side again, use the "wrap" behaviour.

  • Double click the sprite and take a look on the top left. There should be a "loop" option for animations.
