  • Hello guys,

I'm currently struggling with the implememtation of a multi-kill feature for my top down shooter.

I tried to solve it with a variable and the System->Wait expression, but this does not work correctly all the time.

    Any ideas?

  • Awsome graphic style! I really love the way you did the light effects.

Reminds me of Bladerunner somehow ...

Don´t know why, but keep up the good work.

  • Thanks man, will definitely check this out!

Couldn´t test it by now, cause I´m on the road but this means it´s running through the whole color scheme right?

  • Hello guys,

I would love to let my background color fade through different colors endlessly. Pretty similar to the surrounding outside the houses in Hotline Miami...maybe some of you remember.

How do I set this up the easiest and most efficient way?

    Any clues appreciated.

    Thanks,

    R.

Sounds great man! So what is your "profession"?

  • Hello guys,

my name is Robin and I work with C2 for a few years now. After a little time of abstinence, I´m currently working on an, in my eyes, interesting concept for a game.

It´s called Science Smash Brothers and it is some kind of Beat em up styled game. You can choose between different great scientists from history, each of them with unique strenghts and abilities, and battle other famous scientists from different times and fields of science.

All the scientists have their own planets, which are the arenas and which work as "Rotating Platformers". Every strike ads some percentage to a value that lowers your gravity, so the aim is to kick the enemy of the planet. This is pretty similar to the concept of the famous Super Smash Brothers.

Well I´m mostly an artist and not a real great programer, but I can do some things there as well. I´m looking for people that just like the idea and that are bored of making games alone.

This is a just a fun project and I´m not sure whether it will generate any income, so it´s basically for the love of games in general.

I´m just at the very beginning, but maybe someone would like to come on board. Ohh and I would love to use C3 for this, just to see how it interacts compared to C2...especially in Coworking.

That´s it ... here some early stage screenshots. Just write me if you are interested.

    Regards

    R.

Interesting company, but that doesn´t really solve the SEO-issues you get when creating a website in Construct, it just makes it a bit less time intensive if you really try to optimize it SEO-wise.

Of course there are a lot of workarounds but it´s simply not made for making websites and that´s a fact.

How do you set super relevant things like <h1>, IMG-alt, Tags, integrate google analytics properly etc.

Also i`m not sure whether there is a way to create a clean internal link structure where you automatically generate a sitemap and things like this.

  • OddConfection

Well not really a solution, as there are more things important for SEO then just a sitemap.

You normally need to take care of right HTML-Headlines <html>, real machine-readable texts, backlinks from different other websites to your subpages etc. etc.

That´s just undoable with Construct, so it´s simply impossible to make a google competitive site with it.

  • Website looks great man, really great execution!

Unfortunately this is pretty worthless SEO-wise I guess. :-/

  • Hello guys,

I´m currently playing around with C3 and made a very first playable demo of a concept I´m working on. Q-Bic is a little minimalistic racing game in a pseudo 3D surrounding.

Your goal is to be as fast as possible and beat the clock. If you would like to give it a try, here is the link to the arcade:

    https://www.scirra.com/arcade/racing-ga ... lock-25214

ONCE FINISHED HIT THE BACK BUTTON TO SUBMIT YOUR SCORE! (Need to fix that in the next build <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt=":-D" title="Very Happy"> )

I divided the track into two different areas. A high speed one with boosters, and a more narrow part where there are more obstacles. In this area I will implement a slow down effect, that allows you to control your cube way better. I´m already working on that and it really works like a charme I guess. I´ll keep you updated.

Nevertheless I would be more than grateful for any kind of feedback, whether it´s good or bad. I know there is not to much to see/play yet, but you get an impression in which direction it will go.

    Cheers,

    Beav

  • Looks great man!

I thought a lot about teaming up with someone for making example games and sell them. Unfortunately I´m not much of a pixel artist, so I´m not really the man for this. Well, nevermind and keep me in your memory when there is another project you are up for.
