  • sprite ripping software.this works great but megaman x5 in construct 2 isnt aligned but the x1-3 are

  • the megaman X1-3 sprites are aligned already but every single x4-6 spritesheet for megaman is uneven when put into construct 2.

  • Is this possible?as usual the running works but when the person has a jump command added to the event editor for the up button with the ground the running animation keeps restarting while running.

  • I uploaded it to dropbox using firefox highlight that link then right click then openlink.

    his running animations is messed up when i use collision.i do not know how to use a dummy sprite i just switched over from gamemaker

  • The running is working correctly when i remove the collision.when i put it back on his running animation gets ruined.

  • So basically what's happening is that the collision event sets the character to the stand animation.But it's messing with the jump animation -_-

    It's amazing I don't even feel like cursing this has become so...wow.

  • I tried the gravity to 0 thing and it worked so there is no need to use the dummy sprite after all nevermind

  • WAIT thats what im trying to do i mean how do i make the platformer setting off when he hits the floor so it wouldnt treat that instance like a solid object?

  • in gamemaker i could make the megaman entrance without a dummy object but when it was time to animate him the animations wouldnt stop after release even though the release button was pressed so i switched to this.

    now the EXACT OPPOSITE is happening, all the animations and conditions for the character are $%#^ PERFECT but the dammmmm entrance is not even.

    i notice that by editing the collision mask made him hit the floor better but it's still alittle wonky,im trying to avoid using a dummy object for this.

    ashley's tutorial is perfect for the average platformer where a person isnt dropping from the sky but unfortunately that's my goal for this bootleg megaman engine.

  • megamans intro entrance isnt static the images arent in the same area.

    cant give the link because apparently its not allowed yet.
